Okay... this is off-topic, i apologise. But that says a lot bro...lol... about parents... if i'd used the cousins line when I was younger... So what?... would've be their consistent reply no matter what...

Anyway, have fun choosing your ride mate.

My dad goes to farm everyday from that turn.
Regarding your query about how it will handle in narrow streets, I ride a Duke 200, and it will be pretty much flickable and you can ride it with ease in such conditions.

But let me tell you something, once you wack open the throttle on this machine, it turns into a firey monster, to which the power of Discovers and Jives cannot be compared with. If you are unprepared, it can be pretty unforgiving. So, the point is, if you go for Duke 200, you can surely win small races with everyone around, but it only takes one single time to be caught off guard.

      Cheers

Usually, faired bikes don't do good in roads filled with Potholes.. the fairing mounts come out of their position and the plastic starts rattling. I don't think it will be a good option to get a Faired bike if you ask me. unless you love them.. If you do, then CBR250 with no doubt unless you are looking for Fuel Economy..

I hope you aren't serious about this.

Anyways. 140 kmph is a bit too much to ask for from the Karizma ZMR.. it can at max do 134 kmph..

To Be Honest, 140 kmph is a bit too fast if you ask me.. unless you can handle the bike at that speed.. to satisfy this requirement, you will have to again go with the CBR250.. unless you can spend 2L and get the Duke 390 which is just another 30K more than the CBR250.. "Speed Thrills, but Kills"

        Did I just read Vibrator?

To be honest, riding any bike is safe as long as you ride it safely.. but if you are really concerned about slippery roads, get yourself a Duke 390.. comes with ABS and best factory fitted tires..

The tires play an important role in safety as well...

All in All, test ride all these bikes and take your decision. Remember, it is you who is going to be riding the bike.. Not the person who is suggesting you.. you shouldn't feel why didn't I listen to my heart..
Reneav Duke 390 for a noob, Are you serious??? Anyways you wont get your license the same day you turn 18 , it's not sold readymade. Jokes apart, Buy a good helmet first, preferrably ISI/DOT/ECE certified one.
The top speed thing was the one I couldn't digest along with pathholes, assuming that you live in India.
You mentioned that your Paa is used to riding Bullets, well All the bikes you have mentioned are way faster than Bullet, have a lot more feedback from throttle when compared to Bullets.

Pathholes + Duke = Blown Shocker Seals if you dont pay attention to its maintenance.
As far as topspeed is concerned, only CBR 250 does 150+kmph among the three and I'm talking about true top speeds, not speedo crap.

Give a thought to Pulsar 200NS, its the duke 200 itself indifferent clothes and can take Indian roads.

PS: Stay away from the Duke 390, its not a bike you learn riding on.

CBR 150 can't do 150kmph, not even 140kmph, Speedometers have errors at those speeds, correct way of checking top whack is GPS and I think CBR 150 will do ~130kph easily keeping in mind its a high revving DOHC motor.

He wanted a bike with good grip [emoji3] as the village roads are slippery.. making me wonder if the roads are made out of ice or mud hence the d390.. and not to forget top speed.. he said he rides his Jive at 90kmph which works as a VIBRATOR. D390 comes with the best safety features in India.. ABS and the best grippy tires..

Okay okay i apologize asking about good top speed, please stop discussion about top speed..All i need is outright performance because our town is hell at night , When i goto town at night for some work i see extremely aggressive bike riders , They tend to chase you and abuse you for race.. I dont wanna race with them but i want to be away from them..Now i came into two bikes , Duke 200 or CBR 150.Please CBR 150 and Duke 200 owners tell me how the bike handles in daily bumper 2 bumper traffic , Please dont tell me about heating issue i can bear that , I always wear knee guards and elbow guards under my clothing for safety. I always wear jeans..

Im not getting a bike for races and i know what duke can do , I never ride and push a bike to limits unprepared. Even if you ride a 125cc bike unprepared it can be very dangerous.

AFAIK, P200NS'S saddle height is 805mm and DUKE200's saddle height is 810mm (not sure), thats the reason your feet are not planted on ground when on a Duke. . Go for 200NS, its a great bike. I can't feel the difference though as I'm 6'1", for 5'7" + it shouldn't be a problem i guess.

Wait a minute. Clear something for me here. Your feet touch the ground pretty well on both duke and NS but not on pulsar 200. Is that correct, what you meant? By pulsar 200, you mean the old gen pulsars rite.

How to tell Dad that duke is not bad as he thinks ? .. My dad says buy Pulsar 220 instead of Duke.. But P220 feels heavy to handle in busy traffic . I tried telling dad good points about safety and and handling of Duke but he still thinks that duke is prone to accidents.

I own a 220 myself and I don't think 220 is difficult to manaveur in traffic, 220 is 150kgs, just 5 kgs more from Pulsar 200NS at 145Kgs.

Hi...i am deep and I want to tell you that you cannot use even 85%power of the Duke 200 and cbr 250 on the highway and forget about in the village road, even a splendor cannot do 60kmph in village roads that contain potholes holes from my experience.before buying pulsar 200ns my priority is only top speed but now it is comfort because in india it is very hard to use 100% bikes power this experience is comes from after riding pulsar 200ns.my advice is to take a test ride of all the bikes and then decide
