Re: Choosing a Royal Enfield? Ask here...
Hello all,
I am planning to buy RE Himalayan. I went to Whitefield showroom in Bangalore during the week of Diwali and got a quote of 2.32 for Sleet.
I went home, took couple of weeks to get my ducks in a row, and when I went back to the showroom (in the week when 650 twins were launched) they are now quoting me 2.35 for Sleet.
I asked them what happened, and they just said prices changed.
Its just 1% increase, but is it fair? How do I negotiate with them on the final price?
Its the 1st time I am buying a bike on my own. Would really appreciate any suggestions or pointers.

Rear fog lamps do play a vital role in road safety specially in low visibility Conditions like fog, rain etc. Searched a lot but didn't get anthing like the one I showcased in the video.

It becomes very hard to find a mechanic while we ride to remote areas of our country like spiti and laddakh and sometimes it becomes inevitable to do some repairs ourselves.
This video is all about uninstalling rear tire of Royal Enfield Himalyan ABS and reinstalling it back. I hope this video would end up being usefull to all the riders.

Now a days it's not hard for thieves to steal any motorcycle in the market They simply pick/break the lock and bypass the ignition and run away with your beloved motorcycle.
It's tried to make it hard for thieves to steal your motorcycle by confusing them and wasting their time which might end up protecting your motorcycle from theft as thieves don't have previledge of unlimited time while trying steal anything.

Waiting period for Interceptor 650
Hey Guys,
Planning to buy Enfield Interceptor 650, I live in Tumkur, they say waiting here is around 3-4 months, do you suggest I go to Banglore for a quicker delivery? I feel there won't be a difference as the volume of bookings in any Banglore showroom is going to be tremendous.
So seasoned xbhpians please give me your valuable feedback.
P. S: my first reply to a thread, let me know if I screwed something up.
Thanks

Re: Choosing a Royal Enfield? Ask here...
RE comes second in 2018 JD Power 2 wheeler customer satisfaction survey. Posting this link here because whenever someone asks "should I buy a RE", a hundred guys would be like "nooo do you want eternal suffering and damnation?". The situation on ground is different. Even if RE is second and Bajaj is last only 9 points out of 1000 differentiates these two. TVS is ahead of all else.

Re: Choosing a Royal Enfield? Ask here...
Check the bike for scratches or any paint job, any possible dent removal, other than that check the penal gaps on side boxes and do check for pulling too. Other than that just follow regular PDI list.

Re: Choosing a Royal Enfield? Ask here...
Thanks brother.. I was curious about such an early delivery (less than a week).. is there anything I should watch out for on the bike I will be getting? Still not convinced how one of the most selling bike, with 40 days booking period is being delivered in such a short span ..Originally posted by VivekRj.Dieselhead View PostCongratulations for your purchase brother.
The reason given by showroom is, owing to high demand, they make extra orders and this is one such bike....

Also apart from ease of customization, the driving posture & comfort wouldn't be impacted right?
