    Clean and lube your chain every 300-400 kms, adjust your chain based on the slack level every 1000 or so kms, use the recommended fuel and engine oil. Check your engine oil nature and level every 2000-3000 kms. Keep the right tyre pressure based on your body weight or recommended levels by the manufacturer. Get your bike serviced on time. Try and use good quality fuel at all times. Avoid unnecessary high revving of the engine and be gentle on the clutch as well. If you follow this, you can keep running your bike for a long time, without issues.

    hi all , I recently accquired a bull(STD 1990). Its great to drive around but when i do decent speeds and in heavy traffic the engine stops while idling and refuses to start again. I noticed laughing sound from the engine (literally). But after the engine cools down it starts again and no issues. This happens almost all the time except during nights and if i maintain my speed as low as possible. When checked with a mechanic he said " the valve seizes, its not a issues unless you ride long distances ", But i would like to get it fixed. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

    Hi.my classic 350 has clocked 22K kms and is 2 years,5 months old. My battery has drai ed out and the mechanic said the topped up battery will not last more than 2 months. So i will have to get it replaced it with a newer one. So my mechanic suggested me to go for dry cell battery than the conventional acid type. But he is not sure which company has the bullet compatible product. Anybody has changed from acid type to dry cell ?please share the details if you have.

    Guys, I need some gyaan here. I have a soft spot for diesel bullets, and I wish to buy one just to enjoy the sound and smell of a diesel at 6 am.

    I understand the Enfield Diesel is out of production, but the prices of the diesel bullets just keep increasing!

    Diesel bulleteers, what should be the price of a well maintained Diesel Bullet? Are there any problems with cops?

    Are there any good Diesel Bullet mechanics in South India?

    congrats for the bike.wishing you many happy miles with it. regarding maintenance of engine i would suggest to stick with stock silencer until you complete run-in.i was too offered a gun-metal grey but when they told me they would get me 2018 make before Jan 15 i dropped it for 2018 make.

    Finally got the new gunmetal grey variant. I must say this bike looks extraordinary. I can feel the other bulleteers envying me because of the color .
    It feels amazing to drive this bike especially after riding a 150cc bike for a long time.
    Any tips for maintenance of engine and color?

    Common dilemma for the potential owner of RE as told earlier i have booked a gun metal grey but now i am also looking for DS5 and one thought would be hold until pricing of interceptor 650 is disclosed but considering bike would be used only in city mind says C350 would be enough but heart say go for DS5 or wait for interceptor. what to do?

    - Royal Enfield is easily the most comfortable bike to ride in the segment. Argue all you will, but 500cc REs don't vibrate in it's cruise range, ie, 80-110. It's called a "thumper" for a reason. Dominar, with it's still plasticy feel, and Bajaj's reputation, might not appeal to the likes of an RE kinda guy.
    - Hopefully 750cc will have lesser vibration by means of counter-balancing achieved between the two pistons it will have. As a cafe racer, vibration should be kept minimum, which is true for the 535cc currently in existence.
    You do notice that RE is still selling like hot cakes. Please take a test drive again, if you want. It's worth the price paid.
    P.S. Do not take it to the actual RE service centres. Believe in yourself, and start maintaining your own bike, or depend on a good, skilled garage.

    i Know this is a CI model but i was looking for that particular model if it was for UCE bike i would have gone to showroom and bought that. asked for one seller who had this bike he was asking 2 lakh for 1995 model it was too steep so idea of getting that bike is dropped for the time being booked a gun metal grey C350
