Regarding the showroom bluffing, it's the tactics that mostly everyone follows, especially when the customer asks for a specific model. You can find many post in CBR 250R ownership thread that the Honda showroom guys are happy with selling Activa's than CBR's. So visiting different showrooms will definitely help you with a smoother purchase.

2.29L is on the higher side, even with the highest road tax here in Bangalore it costs 2.25L. And my friend got his CBR 150R recently in Bangalore after 3 months of booking, color also not of his choice. He had booked Green and got Red one.

I think the dealer is correct when he says "we only make bikes as per the demand". As per reports both the baby CBR is least selling motorcycles in India, could be possible that Honda is using CBR factory line to manufacture Navi *just trolling*

I'll tell you another thing. If someone wants to buy any RE over here (Mumbai), the dealer says a waiting period of 6 months and when you show a little money, the waiting time automatic goes down.
But if you "know the inside people" you can get it in 15 days.
That's what actually happened when my friend booked his C350.
A little bit of "Jaan pehchan" and the bike was surprisingly available in 15 days instead of 6 months.
So moral of the story, Never trust those dealers.

But if you "know the inside people" you can get it in 15 days.

Just in case you go ahead with the Bajaj and you see a CBR pass you, think "My bike is definitely male" that will make you feel better too

Cost of CBR 250R - Its 2.10 Lakhs for the STD ABS here in Mumbai. So the price you're talking about must be of the Repsol Edition.
Also there's no issue of colors if you go with the Repsol Edition

Trust Bajaj ? Me personally,I wouldn't.There aren't made of very good quality parts and its upto how the owner decides to maintain the bikes,I've seen pristine quality First Gen Pulsars still running whereas in the same Time,I've seen year old 220F and AS200 with fairing rattling,parts rusting and Oil leak on head.In Chennai,I see tons of Pulsars leaking oil and Blown Heads,misfiring.Comparatively bad Dukes too.This is because Bajaj makes KTM Bikes.The Kratos 400 is confirmed to borrow the Engine from KTM Duke 390 and RC 390,The 375cc Engine,Known to have troubles like Overheating.etc.I also expect Fairing Rattles to come as an additional feature with the Kratos [emoji23]

I prefer TVS over Bajaj.I would say,Do keep an eye out for the TVS-BMW G310R

I would say,Go for the Honda 250R ABS.Reasons would be that it's a proven bike.Well refined.Awesome power and gearbox.Got dual channel ABS
