@onlinesatish:When I bought Suzuki Fiero anew on 2002 february ,I never expected the spare parts price will be high later on!.after 2004,I faced with issues procuring spares.I hope this time ,since this Apache Bike is Direct TVS Product ,They will sustain the Spares availability as well as rates .

TVS Apache 180 Bought!
Guys , I bought TVS Apache RTR 180 from Cochin. The Bike is Black in Colour.Test rode the bike and I Liked it.
Paid Rs67500 for the bike and I have to get temporary Permit(TP) to ride it tp Muvattupuzha(40kms),but Today-Wednesday Kakkanad(Kochi) RTO is not allowing TPs!weird.the Sales Guy also learned it half way through the deal.OTR is Approximately 72100 Rupees.
I visited 2 dealers for the bike.Cochin Motors,Vyttila is the only dealer who got few bikes to choose from. They got 8 White Apaches and 3 Black Apaches as Per the Sales Guy.With the First Dealer(not disclosing) ,the Bikes are used in the NH47 and I hated to see the mechanics riding the bike full of dirt(due to rain as well). So ,I just drove to Kochi to the Main Dealer.
Although I liked the White Colour Apache which shows its presence felt among other RTRs ,Black Apache RTR 180 is what I liked for few reasons .
I have payed Rs67500 in cash .
I cannot take the Bike today as explained above due to not getting TP.
Tomorrow ,I will get the bike after PDI done by the dealer as well as other paper works(insurance,TP etc) finished.
On The Road Cost is Rs71700,but for me ,I will have to get it registered at Muvattupuzha RTO(via Auto Consultancy costing approx Rs4400) will cost Rs 72100(approximate).
No Black Colour Bike was available and the 2 bikes displayed are already carrying booked and name.Since I am paying the total money ,I persuaded them for the Black Colour(else ,I will walk out).Checked the Sticker on the bikes which read 18-8-2009 as Manufacturing date, that means only 8 days old from the factory. As "Onam" festival Offer ,I got a Rs500 worth Yera brand Glasses and a Big Jug as Gift.No extra accessories are given!except for the indicator buzzer .I think they discounted the 10 litre petrol offer?
I Will post the Bike Pics as well as details Once I get the bike delivered.Last edited by prakash_mvpa; 08-26-2009, 06:19 PM.

As the Sales Guy said Appropriately ,the Black A180 will not be distinguished easily from A160.But ,I preferred Black Colour not only for the Bike Look Intact after few years down the line ,But also Liked the Black Colour Personally.Originally posted by skyknight19 View Postcongrats man, this is definitely a great buy. now post the pics asap so that we can also see how the black A180 looks as compared to the white one.
A180 in White is simply good. But ,I suspect that Colour is not Fine For People Like me ,who doesnot wash their bikes and keep it prestine all the years following.

Thanks to all.Black Bike is something not available easily here while White 180s are few of them available. It is the Full cash payment which helped me get the Black Bike.I Hope My Bike Delivery goes well Today(27th).Will Report back with Pictures of My Ride.
And Why A Sudden U-turn of Decision in Favour of A180 ?
Answer:
Yes.A U-Turn of Decision. But When you Test Ride Pulsar 180 and Apache Bikes and compare ,there will be changes in Opinion!
Got the Bike Test Ride for a km and back and the Response to Slightest turn of throttle is Brilliant. The Bike is a good performer(the Change is much more felt when you compare it with Pulsar 180).I liked the power delivery of RTR more than Pulsar.Few other things which I liked in RTR which influenced My Decision includes Front and Rear Disc Brakes for Good Stopping Power.
I will share some sore points I have with Apache 180 too for a Neutral Observation(I am not a bike reviewer BTW!):
Tyres ,given a chance shall be replaced for Better Options.Vibration is not that much of an issue according to: Me,but still ,TVS can make it a little more refined. Then , the lacking of DC Lighting is something I miss in Apache 180 ,Since I will be Riding at Nights as well.
I will post My Feed backs after few weeks or months of ownership.I hope this will serve fine for a City Bike as well as Once in a while Long Trips(all alone!).

@prakash_mvpa congrats for you lil monster
yup tyres & vibrations are two things tvs need to work on & i think these rtr require 6th gear badly ,upto 5th gear they are ahead of most of the bikes but imagine what a 6 cog can do
