Yes! It is true. It is the all round suspension, neither too stiff nor too soft. It does everything in required propostions.

      In the 150cc segment :
i would suggest the HUNK or the UNICORN

      In the 125cc segment :
it has to be the STUNNER

P.S. also do check out the new P135 LS..its pretty damn good i would say..and moreover..it fits perfectly in your cousin's budget..

also how about the GS 150R..?

Dont forget to ask him to take a test ride of his options before he settles for any one..!

i thought this thread was dead! lot of replies

@ Parth: Man are you working in any auto mag ? phew...lot of infos about each bike,Love it.To his requirement i want him to buy a bike which the ownership thread is to be ALIVE so that he can get some help from others members for his bike doubt, clarification etc.(not like my discover thread,it's almost dead )

@ All: Most of the ppl suggesting the cbz-xtreme & gs 150r(uni is lookin old now) I'll suggest him both bikes. In 125cc he already have 2 option 1 cbf stunner & 2 gladiator,so if his parents reject 150cc for higher price he have these 125cc bikes as trump card.

Will update soon for these four bikes test ride with him this week end.

Hunk is a better option than Xtreme. Hunk got iGRS suspension which is better than Xtreme's. Overall handling also is better than Xtreme.

The new CBF Stunner is really a stunner and is the best option in 125cc category.

the cough was for your quote on the "best suspension"...
it's really good or the best for the comfort, but when it comes to cornering, nopes....

Bike India magazine Feb '10 recommends Pulsar 135 LS over both Stunner '10 and Unicorn for its overall better performance on all fronts, superb fuel efficiency (i think, it returned 67+ for someone on the ownership thread.) & for being the best handling pulsar.

Final verdict was: "Dont take the Pulsar 135LS home, take it for a really long ride."

Hope the above helps your friend decide better.

P.S.: If i wouldn't have had a 220, i would buy the 135LS in a heartbeat.. solely for being the most advanced Pulsar / Sub 1 Lac bike in the country.

it only fell short on the "comparitively" smoothness department but the stunner was FI...

the stunner used in the test was carb not FI.. and anyways, the FI would cost him as much as an Apache 180 RTR.. so.. thats waay impractical.

yes completely agree, for 66000 bucks stunner is useless.

I guess CBF Stunner is at 59k onroad. FI version is at around 74k onroad (+ or - 2k based on tax in different states, except union territories)

We are yet to see how the 135 fares in time (I am quoting this keeping in view the TS' requirements).
