No! I see the end prodcut and not the Company. I do not love Bajaj because it is an Indian company.

Why do you think despite these flaws they(Honda) are getting away with it and may topple a player to become No.2 in India and they are No.1 in World for some pretty good reasons despite having tough competition all over the world
My point is, when the product is very good, missing out some minor-but-important things really irritates. For example, if somebody makes up his mind to buy Stunner FI, he obviously gets disappointed by the absence of a Tachometer.

I have been thinking of buying Aviator top variant. The Activa top variant has a key shutter lock, and Honda did not give the same option in Aviator. Also, there is no pilot/parking lamp at the front in Aviator (in Activa too). I do not understand why they leave that out.

When Stunner was initially launched there as no TAchometer (at last they inlcuded it now recently).

Though the above things do not relate to performance, they are related to a bike/scooter on the whole, to make them complete; a sense a biker would like to feel when buying.

I prefer a Stunner with 42 teeth rear sprocket, than a Gladiator (Glady is good but I prefer a Stunner). Stunner slightly edges out Gladiator as a overall package including service.

Stunner Fi costs 75200 onroad, for a puny 125 cc setup.

        RTR 180 is for 73100.
        RTR FI is for 75300.
        Pulsar 180 is for 68500.
        Hunk is for 66000.

There are so many options which leaves stunner FI eating dust at the showroom.

License is must for a TD, if you don't have license.. then go along with any of your pals.

hey guys, yeah i went with one of my goody friends to the showroom

              The bajaj Showroom:
First i go there, they say its their lunch time, since i didnt have lunch too, went had lunch and came back,
Then i got the p135 for a test drive....
well to be frank..it was just upto the expectations i wasnt really impressed.. (may b cuz i was in apache 160 rtr with my friend all the time)...

Hmm, so now i rode the vehicle. The bike looks too small no doubt,
but when u ride it , u wont feel that thing. but what i noticed was the front console part was too small.. reminded me of tvs50s (just joking)

so lets go to the performance part:
first i was going in normal speed..20-30. in the main road, once i entered a pretty big street (with some crowd though), i acceled.. well the pick up is too good for a 135... since it was small i was able to zooom thru the crowd easily,, S curves etc without any problem.. the vehicle was upto the mark.. pretty good brks too..
for all the ppl who want a good looking commuter bike this is a must.. i wont call it light sports though .. but really good enuf vehicle for my requirements (may b i dont feel it as a light sports vehicle.. as i felt the power of apache too good, b4 riding this bike / no idea)

but the showroom guys r sick. they made me wait again for quotes as ppl were in meeting, we went to have some juice due to the burning day time ! the time we came back, still they were in meeting. so im gonna getthe quotes later this evening or monday

              Pros:
              1.perfect commuter/mileage/looks
2.best for heavy traffic places and for local drives
3.u can zoom thru the crowd easy

              cons:
1.just 1 con, since its too light.. the handling becomes tough at times.. duno if all the ppl can handle the bike well, feels too small in the front !but once u buy the bike...get used to it.. handling is cakewalk. u r the king !

              Conclusion:
I would define this a STREEET DOG .. vrroooms reallly good in streets.. can beat any bike in traffic prone areas due to the size and weight.. but hey .. streets dogs canot be controlled at times so watch out

So, i think m pretty much satisfied by this bike... willl give a TD in glad and stunner too b4 deciding, but i guess this is gonna be a winner :d fingers crossed

@kayne.. lol @ accident. yeah it wasnt my fault..i was in the pillion, my friend kinda got nuts while driving .. n hey every mom cares for her child man. thts why mom got a lil worried. but now things r settled.. mom just said ok for pulsar 135. but asked me to decide and tell properly after TD-ing other bikes if i have it in mind.. so the war is not over.. lets get this strted

gladiator is a balance between the stunner & p135.
It has got the peace of mind of yamaha's reliability & a good, decent top end also.
                    So go for gladiator.

Really a pity that Honda fans here don't like to admit that P135 is a better overall package.. funny, people here are saying overall Stunner is a better package.. and what's that afterall.. P135 packs a punch in performance dept.. Stunner doesn't even come close. It's got good mileage, price tag that raises eye brows.. and how come overall Stunner becomes better? Just take a ride of this baby pulsar guys, I'm sure you'll love it.

stunner vibrates after 60kmph except the FI.. that is why it returns a better mileage cause nobody dare goes above 60 lol and honda service sucks !! (my buddy owns a stunner) and charging such a price for nothing but plastic body work.. hmmm not exactly value for money. pulsar is obviously a better package.. if you want to buy a product cause of brand then ofcourse all that dont matter but do accept the fact that the baby pulsar is a better deal unless you want a rational person to think your a fanboy.

Don't think Stunner is any better in mileage department.. most of the owners in P135LS thread are reporting 55+.. don't think Stunner offers more than this.

What if we say the same about you pulsar fans ?? The stunner is a better overall package in terms of style, honda's reliability & proven engine.
I admit that the p135 is a gud overall package but it is a new bike & it will take some time to establish itself in the market. Now comeon you cannot compare a world's no.1 company with india's no.2 company. Even the pulsar's reliability is not proven. The stunner was a hit because it's engine can be found in the shine & the engine is a very reliable one.
