I admit that the p135 is a gud overall package but it is a new bike & it will take some time to establish itself in the market. Now comeon you cannot compare a world's no.1 company with india's no.2 company. Even the pulsar's reliability is not proven. The stunner was a hit because it's engine can be found in the shine & the engine is a very reliable one.
Now what's that.. better overall package in terms of style ?? doesn't overall means considering everything?? Pulsar's realiability is not proven!!! to you may be.. very funny, so you say that best seller for 9 years in a row in 150cc segment despite competetion from world no.1's bike maker.. is not reliable?? come on now.. you are neck deep in love with Honda, but that should not close your eyes to competetion.

now you dont know what you are talking about. I think we were talking about the p135 & not p150. Well I am not any fan of honda for your knowledge & i am just speaking the truth. Maybe the pulsar is generating a good volumes but the hero honda is still the market leader in terms of sales & hero honda is nothing without honda.

Of course we are talking about P135.. but that was to tell you Pulsar indeed is a reliable bike.. It's younger brother of P150.. which is proven. Besides, Stunner's top end performance is nothing to boast about. Oh, yeah.. everyone knows that HH is nothing without big brother, but all they provided was technology, maintaining sales should be attributed to HH. Still.. if you consider 125+ segment.. then HH's numbers are nothing to talk about.. They hardly manage 30k units per month, which is what Bajaj does with P150 alone..
Even Honda's numbers are predominantly from scooters i.e. Activa/Dio/Aviator.. I don't think even Honda is doing approximately 50k units per month in 125+ segment (shine/stunner/Unicorn)..

well now if a big brother is scoring good marks then it is not neccessary that the younger brother should also score good marks.
I meant to say that if a p150 is good & reliable then it is not necessary that it's younger brother i.e p135 is reliable. ANY new engine (or new bike with new engine) in market needs a minimum of 1 year to see if it is reliable or not. and yeah you are right that the stunner is not having a good top end & i am personally having a bad experience with it (accident).
I can bet my money on it that if there is a poll on performance ,mileage & VFM then the p135 would easily win but if there is a poll on style, reliability & long life engine then definetly the stunner would get the crown.

And about the reliability of the pulsar i accept that the old generation pulsars were very reliable but the new generation ones (the one with LED's) are not that reliable because i have met a lot of mechanics & riders & 90% people of them (including pulsar owners) told me the new generation pulsars are not that reliable because the bajaj has reduced the quality of the bikes to make it cheap & earn more profits.

Neways As they say in hindi "bina aag ke dhua naa uthe" meaning:- "without fire there would be no smoke" why would the other senior members & mechanics say that the bajaj is not good in quality if the bajaj is that reliable as much you are saying & it does not have any issues?? Well I am even having the experience of its service & quality from a friend's bike too.

Well Madhav, genes matters.. if someone is coming from a good family, you will certainly know what to expect of him. In the same way.. when you say this is smallest Pulsar.. you know what to expect out of that bike. Pulsar genes are performance & affordability and that's completely reflected in P135LS.

And about reliability of Pulsars..I was thinking that newer generation pulsars are much better in reliability..with no false neutrals, lesser engine noise and much better ride. Vaise bhi aaj kal kuch bhi ho sakta hai bhai.. aag ke bina bi dhua uthanewale aaj kal kuch jyada hi hogaya hai. I will not accept this bad reliability claim about Pulsars..as I have very good experience with them. If you are maintaining well.. then you should not get any problem with these fantastic fun machines.

Well Bro I see there is a war goin on here..... Guys you are just confusing him more...

P135 is an overall good package at a cheap price tag. It has good power and very light at that too. It offers you so many modern bits(digi display, clip on bars blah blah...). Bulid quality is not like a yamaha or a honda but it is good. Styling isn't so good I believe.

The Stunner is mind boggling in terms of style statement. Well yes the P135 beats it in terms of perfomance and mileage(marginally). But out of the two stunner has better build quality. You can tap on the two tanks and you'll literally know the difference. Yes there are lot of plastic bits here and there(agreed!). And the pricing is too high. But.....you get HONDA'S realiabilty! And yes service depends where you live. Here at Madurai it is average. The engine on stunner is smoother than that on the pulsar. Bajaj spares are cheaper than honda's I believe(correct me if I am wrong).

In terms of highway stability I feel P135 is better. Flicking between traffic-stunner is a tad ahead in this area. The only 125cc bike that can catch P135 on a drag is the Gladi.

Well looking overall P135 is the one to go for but the stunner isn't far behind. Take a test drive and go ahead with you heart's desicion. You won't go wrong with either.

                Choose wisely.....

Stunner??? i seriously think its a HH Splendor with karizma fairing.. && LOL @ 75k+ for 125CC bike with FI..I dont think theres any good in FI but someone please enlighten me.... $o not worth it...

Now Pulsar 135.... i cant stop laughing LOLOLOLOL, it used to be a XCD 135, it went flop, failed, crashed, burned, raped... etc.. then it was named "Pulsar 135 LS" and all of a sudden its popular again?? wtf? there maybe 2 things different, 1 is the rear number plate etc. and i dont know the other.. but its almost the same to the side lights haha....

anyways, this is what I think and if you do look at it, im not wrong about the pulsar, but the stunner....... o man haha, my shine outruns the stunner untill the stunner drops into 5th... (Also, i've heard stunner carb'd and Shine have the same engine? true??)

You are spot on with Stunner.. carb version engine is a better tuned version of Shine engine.. hence the bad topend.

But you don't seem to know a thing about P135LS, it's a new 4-valve, 13.3 ps engine with bike weighing around122kg compare that to xcd135's specs and you'll know the difference. The kind of stuff P135LS has an offer.. one has to be either a die hard Honda fan or an extemely insecure person to go with Stunner (IMO).

Stunner FI at 75K is not anywhere near VFM. But, it is the best 125cc (not 135cc) available in India. The FI does give linear power delivery without any flatspots.

Read P135 vs Stunner FI here.

LOL. my main reason for even getting the shine was to first learn how to ride it right so incase i have many falls (and i have had many fallz due to stupid errors) i dont ruin a expensive bike etc. But i can tell you i am a real honda fan but i really hate the stunner lol

I do not know where you have got this impression, but Stunner is quicker than Shine, though both are short geared.

Its nothing like that, and i do beleave that when i bought the shine, stunner wasnt out in the market yet. and the only reason i hate it is because its sort of a copy of the karizma in cheaper cost & low CC. I just dont like the stunner much. Thats all... and yea, stunner is quicker then shine but it also depends on the rider :P

Nice way to duck the comparision.. hahah.. so we can say Apache is the best 160 cc, but not 150cc.. isn't it?? well, abt VFM.. even the carb version Stunner can't be termed as VFM..
