            WELCOME TO XBHP SIR.

Sir, I know the introduction and pictures of you and your rides which you have posted here is very less when compared to the ACTUAL. I am trying to say, this is just a 'sample or trial'. I can say you are the true inspiration for the young bikers like us. I feel very proud and glad to say that I am a friend of you SIR.

The knowledge what you have about Bikes, Cars, Health, Safe riding and Physical Exercise is AWESOME sir.

Always meeting and riding with you is unforgettable and impressive moment for me and Thulasi(XBHP ID: tdjbiking) and other friends. Since, from every meeting we are able to learn some new valuable things(for example a lesson about safe riding) from you Sir.
During last meet, when I came to see your collection of Magazines and Books, I felt shocked Sir. Because in your room, here and there I can see the Magazines which are around 1970s printed. And height of the whole thing is owner’s manual of 1970 Triumph, still it almost looks like new one. HOW?

By the way, you have forgot to add one more photo sir. I meant the new arrival in your garage (RE Thunderbird Fully modified for touring). And I like the effort you are giving to your bikes to modify that as unique as like you.

Oh, How I forgot to say about SUZUKI BANDIT 1250 sir. Wow! What a bike, I am always a fan of I4 engines. That one becomes my DREAM BIKE. Need to save bucks from now onwards.
            WELCOME AGAIN SIR!

              Doctor,

You are my Inspiration as I always say. I am only witnessing your speech when we go for coffee ride and discussion because I have no age to even discuss on anything. Being with you and your blessings is what we need.

I am very glad that I am being with you from my childhood. I started seeing you from my 8th standard and you will come to athletic ground every morning and evening with one of your fantabulous bike.

12 years passed, I wonder still you doing the same exercise and you have great stamina than a 24 years old guy like me.

              Thank you very much Doctor.

                Sir,

Helmets off to you and your line up of rides, and the punch line is my signature as its true that you do get old when you leave biking.

Its great that being a doc you still got time to follow your heart and carry on with your biking.

                            Riding in the1960's

                            Hi Guys,
Let me share my experiense when I srarted riding in 1966. My Bike was Royal Enfield Bullet bought new for a princely sum of Rs.5500. The fuel cost at that time was 70 paisa per litre and a tank full cost me around Rs 10.
I was doing my House Surgeonsy at Stanley Medicals at Madras as it was known than. From that time onwards I have always traveled to my native place krishnagiri a distance of 250 kms only on my bike.
The roads were usually single lane but the traffic was very sparse and I could travel at 90 to 100 kms per hour . Petrol bunks were very few and you had to sure you had enough fuel to get you to your destination or else you had wait some kind hearted person to give you a lift as ther were few buses.
You did not have Dhabas where you can take a break. There were trees on both sides off the highway and sceenery was good . You rarely met fellow bikers on the road because as I said earlier buying a bike was only for the afluent. I used to cover the distance of 250 kms in about 4 hrs without any stop. Given the choise to choose riding in the 60's and present I will still prefer the good old days.

Sir, A very warm welcome to our little world of xbhp and we are indeed honored to have you with us. Absolutely floored by your interest and passion for biking. If I am not mistaken, I had read some months back either on a forum or in a bike magazine where someone had mentioned about you riding at this age and buying the Bandit etc. Wonderful spirit.

Wish you many more years & miles of biking bliss.
