        • @Anup and Chetan... any dates out for Hari Hareshwar trip...??

          concerned cos few of my weekends are already jammed (going home, friend's marriage, etc.)... just hope it doesn't clash with those..!

          IF by any chance my free weekends matter in arriving at a date (which I really doubt ), then those would be "Oct last weekend (26th) and Nov first weekend (2nd)"...
          same for Vishal (R15)

                • @neutrino-That sounds nasty.Good that you came almost unhurt.

                  @chetan-If you are riding as a sweeper then make it a point to go back and forth and talk with guys who are doing mistakes.Also if the group is as big as 20 people then other than the leader and sweeper there needs to be more people in the middle who can keep a watch on other people.These are the people who can move back and forth while the leader and sweeper stay at their respective positions.

                  @marcus/darth-Good points.

                  Booze and Riding=Strict no-no.If its a overnight ride then people may booze but it shouldn't affect the next day's ride.

                    Spot on man..!! This holds very true... and the ppl who understand this already ride responsibely....

If you check my ridelog... me n Sumit had a long drag... 3km race actually on open roads... with nothing on them... the R15 loses big time... sorry to say, run-in or kms clocked... it wont affect so much, so thats it period.
                    Ya i agree to you dat R15 lacks power(torque).....but the thing is with time a bike gets the smoothness where as the newer one may not be as smooth....the same is the case with the RTR Fi here...if the engine is smooth then it is able to pick up very nicely and generate good amount of power and deliver good speeds....

                    Vaise no offence meant, just put down what i had felt

                        Yup I did that, gave some feedback on riding in the ghats to a couple of guys who were not able to cope with gear changings and taking hair pin bends properly. We had guys going back and forth checking everybody (MotorB/Sumit).... Will make more people(experienced) to do that in the future big group rides.
                        Thanks for the feedback.

                        @Inder: Agreed

                        • @Inder : working on it with picsasa..

                          @Marcus : thanks a ton buddy... for the pics... just loving the pics of no. of bikes riding together..

                          @Safety tips: all are good but i believe that it was mainly because of people trying to keep-up with the faster going experienced riders... see here i mean experienced riders by those who have done all these Ghats rides plenty of times... so newbies should not try to imitate them as they know how to go through every corner..
                          and for the highway part we need to cruise at 70-90 ka speed depending on the roads.. so that nobody is left behind..

                          and for those who wants to go much slower can have separate group with a leader and sweeper to take care of things...

                          but i believe everyone got the point.. cuz coming back to mumbai was great fun.. the huge one line formation, discipline by all the riders,

                          hope things stay same for all the future rides...
