Had a wonderful trip this weekend Chennai - Kallaty - Masinagudi - Mudumalai trip. Beautiful climate, decent roads apart from very few bad stretches. The wild forest area was mesmerizing and thrilling.

Mudumalai Tiger Reserve Forest, Forest Dept. Jungle Safari - 7:30am - 9:00am and 3:00pm - 6:00pm by Swaraj Mazda (20 seater) and ticket cost is Rs. 35 per person. The inside jungle trip was worth and they took around nearly 4 kms. Was able to see Indian Bison, Sambhar Deer, Spot deers, Elephants and Indian Langur. Sorry, I did not carry camera however, will post some pics taken by friends.

You're correct. It was a team outing (office), so mode of transport was train and Tavera. Riding to these places is far from their imagination.

Guys, Let me know if this ride can be made short to 3 days trip with 2 days of riding to and fro Masinagudi and 1 relaxing day at Masinagudi..

Alternatively if it is a 4 days trip, I just want to know if anyone would like to ride to Ooty and back to Masinagudi or Gopalswamy Betta and back..

My participation for this ride is still tentative..

I'm posting few pics from my recent Ooty - Kallaty trip. The road as good and it is scenic beauty wherever you turn around. These pictures were taken during the Kallaty - Masinagudi trip enroute to Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. Not a good resolution thought would still post it for an idea.

The tour dates are frozen on the outcome of the poll results. I'm collecting information on the resorts/accommodation at Masinagudi.
