By what senior tourers suggestion, let's make the stay at Ooty and travel surrounding areas instead of Masinagudi. I'm in touch with few resorts, before going ahead, would like to know the count.

OT: Dang! I believed your words when you said will return my call yesterday. Hope everything is fine at your end.

Updated plan:-

Day 01: Chennai to Mettupalayam - stay (walk-in type)
Start around 4 AM and reach Mettupalayam by evening 4-5PM considering it is a group ride. Walk-in to Hotel(still searching) and stay. The room rent from a decent hotel should costs 600/person

Day 02: Mettupalayam to Ooty - Stay at Glyngarth Villa

Get up early and ride to Ooty via Karmadai for a relaxed ride with lot of scenic places on the way to reach the top. Reach Ooty for brunch/lunch and check-in at Glyngarth Villa. Rs.1500/- per person (with breakfast). Evening ride to nearby places.

Day 03: Checkout from Glyngarth Villa.

Shall negotiate the timing according to our plan if need be. We can visit Avalanche, Emerald Hills etc situated around the hills. We can also do Kothagiri, Coonoor on the way to Mettupalayam for night stay.

Day 04: Mettupalayam to Chennai - Home sweet home!

Within the broad time lines we can make adjustments to the itinerary.
I've already talked to Glyngarth Villa and blocked accommodation for below mentioned riders:-

I was part of the plan. But then I just got a call from Wrangler today informing that the prize ceremony for the long gone True Wanderer contest has been arranged on the 20th. I didn't have much of a choice but to agree. I will have to forgo this trip. Have fun and ride safe fellas!

Guyz, Checked out for accomodation in Mettupalayam.till now got these details for the 2 resorts

Kallar Cottages - Individual Cottage type - 3 persons in a Room
Rs. 600 per day

Black Thunder Resort - Deluxe Suite - 5 persons in one Suite
Rs. 1100 per day (complimentary Breakfast)

We will be staying 2 night stays in Mettupalayam (Thursday and Saturday Night). for now i have blocked the rooms.

Is the cost indicated the room cost or per head cost? I would prefer the Black Thunder Resort, since its supposed to be very good but will go with the majority vote.

Would be a steal if it was total room cost
