now thats the same reason i joined too...so far i've seen...this is 1 biker gang which at least follows some rules....or guidelines as someone call it....unlike any other stunting/biking groups in india....and...1 of the largest...really proud to be a member...but..as a matter of fact...trivandrum, or lets say kerala doesn't really know anything much about us...even that we exist...soo..its time...this campaign could do a part of that job for us i guess....lets show them how we "ride"!!! I'm IN! I'm ready to do any kind of help possible from my side to make this happen...lets do it guys!

Hey friends, Our RD trip was a memorable one! Anyway it is the time to plan our Next Helmet campaign programme at Trivandrum city. we should cover some rural areas too. Kindly make suggestions on the following points.

1.The date of Programme: Feb 12th Sivarathri holiday(Friday) or next day ie 13th?(we will get enough time to organise sponsor,media and traffic authorities.)
2.exact no of persons(including pillion) attending the Helmet awarness ride. This should be Pakka....otherwise we can't give the total expense in the proposal for sponsor.
3.How many Area should be covered in one day time?(The whole rute map with start and finish)I mean which are the crowded junction that we can halt and distribute the pamphlets. so how many pamphlets we need?2000nos? you can also suggest a short brief of the content for pamphlet.
4. Total expense for Refreshments to all participants.
5.An estimate for minimum petrol expenses for each participants
6. who can approch to Metro manorama(news paper media) TV channels,FM radio to cover the programme.and also to traffic authorities.
7.Duration of the ride....I mean after 3 pm to 7 pm or the whole day?
Guys just plan these things and we have to send a proposal to the sponsor who is waiting for ths. Please make your comments as early as possible.We have to make a proposal within this week.

Once the t-shirts arrive, we can all wear them for the helmet awareness campaign. That way it looks official and organised. But lets not make it a necessity. Many bikers who may join wont have them. But all those who do should wear them. What say?

Also put me in the sticker list also. 1 xbhp sticker - S. Haven't figured out where to stick it yet. I dont want to stick it on the visor.

I agree with all, we need to have T-shirts as many we can get.....I hope some one here will be having the list i need t shirt too with collar if possible 42 size(xxl), Feb 12 or Feb 13 sounds to be reasonable......

route map....it is necessary to fix the location as concentrating on rural / urban. My take lets make it urban FOA since we are organizing for the first time, there wont be much confusion about the roads........

For discussion sake lets say that we can cover total of 15 km radius in a day......
lets start it from East Fort and make our way.....what say brothers

we must setup some xbhp flags and banners. i have big hopes for xbhp. this group will grow really big . it will get popular all around kerala. it will turn into a really big biking community.one day we will setup our own office or the so called head qurters in tvm. we will have our g2gs there. we will have our own brand of hot selling merchandise-t.shirts,stickers and many more stuff.a time will come when members will have to pay membership fees to join.we will organise trips to the remotest corners of india-far away from the chittars and palaruvis.youngsters will get inspired by us and start wearing lids and gears. because of us the demand for riding gears will increase in kerala and all the things that are currently not available will sell like hot cakes then.that day is not far away .it is not a mere dream. it is a reality that hangs over our heads like fate. the key to a new saga is in our hands. we are the pioneers. let this helmet campaign be the door to a new culture-the XBHP CULTURE. I PROMISE MY FULL SUPPORT. BEST OF LUCK.

jayamohan bro,do you know mr. agarwal?if not why couldn't we try to make him a member of xbhp. if amba is sponsoring this event it could be a lot easy. it will have many benefits. i also ordered for the matt finished formula hp helmet. they say i may get it in two weeks. if i didn't get it then,i will have to meet him personally and submit my complaint. i will also use that opportutnity to befriend him and make him aware of xbhp.

definitely would love to see some of the above happening.......but membership fees for joining thtz a whole new story......

I think 2000-3000 pamphlets will be enough... we can decide from others opinions...
Dress code will be definitely XBHP Tee's(we must ship it ASAP) and maximum riding gears each of us have. places are definitely very very important, we must decide a good place to flag off from(does PMG/Keshavadasapuram sounds good?)... 3 ltrs of petrol will be more than enough, i think...

Xbhp have been here for some years till now and Trivandrum have already witnessed some active participation in GIR and other activities earlier even before guys like me joined in here. But then the unit lost some of its glory for sometime with passive members and less activity like in Passion Hunt event held last year. We can believe that the unit will mark its coming back in Golden Letters with this event

Yes I hope I can do ths. That is the time factor you have mentioned....but we have to chart out a complete route map and one printed brief copy of our Idea and a pamphlet of Helmet awareness should submit to Traffic authorities.They can suggest the time and edit the route.That is the fifth stage Bro

1. make route map and pamphlet content

2.Budget of total expense(petorl, food etc etc)

3.Convincing the sponsor (all abt expenses). He will claim an advertisement for Brand Helmets in the reverse side of the pamphlet.
4.Invitation to media,FM radio...for ths we have to issue the written invitation with route map and one copy of pamphlet.
5.Finally request to Traffic authorities.

These steps can figure out only after getting the actual no of members participating ths programme. I think that is the FIRST STEP so post the names of the members who are attending ths programme. That can't possible to change later. JUST START BOOKING FOR IT
