guys i checked out at amba. no use. i checked at thakaraparamp and a shop opposit big bazar as well no stock. they mentioned that a vega helmet for 1100 is available but unsure when stock will come. what to do guys?i remember tintus helmet. i liked it very much. but i thought it was much more expensive.where can i get it?

lijo ,i was just retracing our papanasam trip route on g maps. if we had continued on along the gorgeous nh7 we would have reached madurai. from nagercoil madurai is around 230 km away. if we keep ripping steadily at 100kmph(my bikes safe cruising speed)we should reach there in 2.5 hours from nagercoil. have you fancied anything like this atleast in your wildest dreams?interesting ,is it not? .you once mentioned about a goa trip. i am in if such a trip is planned after april.i could also arrange a free stay at thrissur if such a trip is planned.all these are mere dreams . hope it happens before i die.;-)
as far as helmet is concerned i will check out at big bazar and amba (once more) tomorrow.

hey if you looked further the same NH7 could be used to reach Chennai or Banglore also I was wishing to do that in some near future

Why I did not choose the NH route - being republic day, a bunch of riders in full riding gear can tickle the cops into stopping us .... why take the risk? Anyway, if more ppl prefer to go via NH - do post here

@akhil - the NH7 is not continuous... there are lots of places where work is still going on(right after where we got out at Tirunelveli, the first section of diversions), and the diversions can be via rough roads... as far as I heard. And yes, I've thought of going up till Madurai and coming back just for the fun of it... You interested? I was looking for someone who was just as crazy....
Also, if Amba does not have the helmet, ask them to get it for you.... they must just be out of stock... But if you happen to go to cochin, drop by AutoQueen... you can have a wide range of choices.

NH7 goes to B'lore and then Hyd, up till Varanasi.... to go to chennai, one has to take the NH45 from Madurai . The good thing about NH7 is that its part of some North-South highways.... just look up NHAI site...

i am crazy enough to go as far as my bike can take me to.you are exactly right. the nh 7 directly do not take us to chennai and it ends at varanasi.on the way we can go to places like the world famous panna tiger reserve. after bikes my biggest passion is cats-wild and tamed.about the madurai trip if you could rope in one more rider (atleast ) then just tell me the date and start time. ill be there.
