No man will be a marine engineer who has contrivance enough to get himself into a jail;for being in a ship is being in jail, with a chance of being drowned.A man in a jail has more room, better food and commonly better company.

            • Too good

Incredible experience... Did u guys see the look on peoples' faces when we rode past? To see the next guy cornering in the rear mirror at a twistie is awesome.
But next time around a little less pace at picturesque locations for a more leisurely ride, absorbing the view, is called for. Nice turnout too...

                    • waoh...nice gang...guess I made a big loss...
btw time to plan for the Helmet Awareness program....I am a definite in for such initiative and we need to have it ASAP.....

begin with we have the questions like 1. Suitable road way for the program. 2. What is our main agenda behind the program. 3. how to convey the same to the public....

I am sure we might already have answers to this, but lets get it under one roof.....

Things we might need for the program:

                      1. Helmets (offcourse the first and important thing)
                      2. XBhp T-shirts
                      3. XBhp Stickers
                      4. Riding Gears?????

One the fun part Mr. Nio and Lijo posing as models suited up in their gears......lol
for reference browse through the http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/xbhp-off...hread-219.html and the image in this

                      • Hey friends, Our RD trip was a memorable one! Anyway it is the time to plan our Next Helmet campaign programme at Trivandrum city. we should cover some rural areas too. Kindly make suggestions on the following points.

1.The date of Programme: Feb 12th Sivarathri holiday(Friday) or next day ie 13th?(we will get enough time to organise sponsor, media and traffic authorities.)
2.exact no of persons(including pillion) attending the Helmet awarness ride. This should be Pakka....otherwise we can't give the total expense in the proposal for sponsor.
3.How many Area should be covered in one day time?(The whole rute map with start and finish)I mean which are the crowded junction that we can halt and distribute the pamphlets. so how many pamphlets we need?2000nos? you can also suggest a short brief of the content for pamphlet.
                        4. Total expense for Refreshments to all participants.
5.An estimate for minimum petrol expenses for each participants
                        6. who can approch to Metro manorama(news paper media) TV channels,FM radio to cover the programme.and also to traffic authorities.
7.Duration of the ride....I mean after 3 pm to 7 pm or the whole day?
Guys just plan these things and we have to send a proposal to the sponsor who is waiting for ths. Please make your comments as early as possible. We have to make a proposal within this week.

This is a very neat plan and we are grateful to have a member like you in our team. It ll be more of a group ride than an awareness campaign if we organise it as an all day event..this is not a big rally, we are just a bunch of safe riders/enthusiasists. So it ll be better if we ride through the city for some 2-3 hours distributing the pamphlets n all. The radio chanels will be more than happy to cover something like this, we just need to tell them the cause and they ll do the remaining publicity better than anybody else.

Today i went to amba automobiles to buy a stuff and met a new guy standing there with helmet department. He seem to a well educated person, some 24-26, may be even son of the owner. As they didnt have the thing in stock, he immediately called up the company in delhi and told to ship it in a week. Then i thought about this campaign, a guy like this will be of much help .
