i dont think there is any necessity for a detailed plan and stuff for such a short ride. every body knows what happened last week. no body put up any plan or whatever.the result- a cancelled trip.the best thing would be to arrange a g2g and decide upon the start time. lijo had previously done the trip so there is no need for detailed discussion on route,restaurants and stuff. just pack your bags and come -to ride hard .superbikes are the biggest blunders on indian roads.Comment

Ok... here goes the plan for those who need it...
6AM - Infront of Anton TVS - Starting point
7AM - Nagercoil, Paarvathipuram. Tea stop
7:30AM or earlier - Kanyakumari. (Couple of restaurants for breakfast)
< 15 -20 mins ride to Vattakottai
By 10AM everyone will get bored of the place...
So return... can easily reach back by 12 and home in time for lunch
Now, the times may be moved up or down as per convenience... all I want to stress it - the earlier, the less traffic... and its not at all a long ride... as in, you can do it in half a day...
Once again, I want everyone in the list to be there, and strongly advice new-to-group-ride members to read the link Akhil posted...

it is such a short ride that was why i said there was no need for a schedule. even for the tirunelveli trip we were ahead of the schedule for the most part. we just need to know the start time,the route,and the eating places.as part of the infamous "japan kudivalla project" they are again digging up the road in front of my house. i hope everything will be ok before saturday. fingers crossed.superbikes are the biggest blunders on indian roads.Comment

Also please make use of the trivandrumG2G sms channel if there are any notifications, change in plan/dates etc.
Last time we were to start by 6.30am and i came to know that the ride was cancelled at 11.30pm the prev day.
