Guys, today's g2g was good...almost crowded. special paritcipants are Tintu and Anand from EKM Discussed about road safety awareness campaign...and all the preparations should be completed before 5 th of feb 2011.following are the details..
1. completion of Pamphlet design and printing.(sudeep will do the job tmrw)
2.Permission from Traffic police( Is it my job ,)
3.sponsor ship(Varun or Me) Others are also do search for New sponsors
4.Invitation for special guests to speach about Traffic awareness.( sugesstion from all members) ie:Film star,Transport Minister or High official from police.
5.Presentaion.( A visual representation of Traffic awareness by using slide projector by us)
Please do your maximum efforts for the success of this programme.We need team work as we done earlier for the Helmet campaign.

About sponsorship, AJ will look with amba auto and the cochin guys, you got to ask sabu , as the kerala xbhpians account for the publicity given to cross and cramsters .

About police permission, Aj will talk to Mr ragesh kumar on one side and i shall talk to motor vehicles dept on the other side( as we are clubbing this program with road safety club which comes under their dept afaik.)

About the pamphlets, hope sudeep will be able to complete the works in a day or two, if i give the necessary articles,, as a sample so as to give it to ragesh kumar and some to noel for publicity . He has got good contacts among the journalists.

For the presentation we can make use of this presentation made by alok das also after editing it suit our prog. lemme look out for other things in the net as well. If you find anything suitable for our campaign, please share it here. I tried starting up a thread, but am not able to do so, I ll ask MG to start one so that more discussions on this can be made there.
If anyone has any contacts with any cine star like suresh gopi( Whom the govt has hired to do ads on road safety which is being aired in doordarshan these days) , or anyone else, please contact them for the inauguration , as we are planning to make it in a big scale.

I've decided to cancel my Dubai trip which falls during the Traffic awareness campaign time. I don't want to miss this event. Dubai shopping festival comes every year.

I'm ready to take more responsibility for the campaign on demand/otherwise.

P.S: All those wickedly smiling people out there, this is for you, "i won't dance or do a speech for the campaign what so ever...."

This is not welcomed.. u Lijo & Jaymohan ji has 2 address people.. with Varun and someone from xBhp Cochin along with the honourable members.

Fix the topics.. and divide it.. so that each one one of you can start googling for there respective subjects and prepare a speech not much than 20-30 mins..

Regarding the Suresh gopi issue.. i hope we can go to his house and talk with him.. letz fix a date and proceed..If we get him its well & good.. else the proced with the rest.

Letz make this a huge success.

PS: About the 26 ride.. please fix the time & place.. starting points etc..Please dont wait till 25th night to decide
