exactly...and this catcon...which is equipped in my ride's silencer has gone kaput 2 weeks back...waiting for the replacement...there's a really irritating noise from the silencer now...not riding much these days..my whole silencer is gonna have to be replaced(under warranty though)...still waitingg....

I have successfully completed my pune ride on Wednesday evening
a total of 1450 KM SOLO.
Enjoyed it to max. this was just1 day after the Munnar which i think will come a total of around 1000.

Managed to kill another dog In karnataka @ 110 kmph. some how mastered the process and escaped with zero defect!

NH17 was not that great. still good. SHs in Karnataka which i took where awesome.

Finally piled up a 450 Km on straight NH4. moving to 145 on speedo is so simple. I kept the needle b/w 120 - 130 most of the time... but doing 450 km solo on NH4 something you will not enjoy much on anything under 650.

Everything turned out good. Except for an uneducated SI who stopped me for riding with headlamp on at kasargod. he was not happy with my riding gears as well. He thinks it is just for attracting girls

I will recommend a police awareness campaign for next year!!
he steeled one important hour of mine.

guys i need some help/advice
my bike is having some problem. But i am unable to figure out what the reason is. The pickup is low, the mileage is low(30-32kmpl), the engine vibrations are more nowadays..

I had shown the bike to Joseph 2weeks back to adjust the valve clearance and timing...He told that the engine needs to be decarbonised, the carbon deposits inside the engine is responsible for the vibration and mileage issue.

But when i showed the bike to Honda service centre today they are saying that the engine is fine, the vibrations are coming from the body, and not from the engine..it can be corrected. And decarbonisation needs to be done only after 30k or 40k and the mileage can be improved by cleaning the carburettor.

So 'm wondering who is right. The sparkplug, air filter, engine oil are new.. about 1000kms old. The bike is done just 12k kms
Any thoughts?

did you call him? when fayad talked with me, it seemed like he was interested for a ride with us tmrw.. if so, we can meet up with him and ride to varkala at 3..just finalise it guys.


Just came back from the hospital to see my friends who ve had accident a couple of days back. actually 2 accidents back to back. one happened at the one way after DPI junc towards vazhuthacaud junc when a scooty came on the wrong side and in order to avoid head on collision he averted and lost control, pillion was thrown away with a fracture in hand and leg !! rider escaped with a chopped finger.
Another one inside kanakakunnu on the way up from outside....that was a head on collision with R15 which left him broken jaw bones, both cheek bones and hand fracture....if only he had a helmet, he could have walked away just like that....
