There are many good models for RJays...
if you are going for the black CBR250, an upgrade is soo much inevitable at that stage and i liked this one so much !!

How the hell are you waiting patiently to fix it ?? !! :O Why not anywhere else ?? . you bought the same one which tintu bought for his FFE work ?

LET THE PICS ROLL MAN !! anxiously waiting for you to bring back to life your buried skills with the new machine !!!

Great dude, 7k is indeed a good budget. for that check out any cramster or DSG, which you ll be able to get for 6k atmost and you can get a Probiker gloves for 550 from cochin. ( My friend had a freak accident today evening and his finger got chopped off !!yiike !! plastic surgery going on). When going for all these, opt for a pair of knee guards too, as most of you would forget that while collecting the gear . go for the bionic one(that can be worn inside your jeans if you want to avoid the embarrassment from public seeing you with that).
If you can go with the SCOYCO jackets( hav to be ordered from delhi) , you can get that for 3-4k whose quality of material, stitching and armour is far better than cramster according to a review i saw in the riding gears thread and also from vishnups(from ekm who has that). With that, u can save a couple of thousands and with that , you can go for a great LS2 helmet too which are retailing for 2.5k (even those like fayad has wich he bought for 4k) due to some stock clearance in AQ and bangalore !! your set of gears would be almost complete by then...

                  • @Varun - will upload the pics tonight if the net connection is back up. Yesternight it was down due to some power issues with ADL in our area.
It took me two days to figure out a way to quickly process the RAW pics to an uploadable format.
And regarding the delay in getting the FFE installed. There are a few glitches - 1. I'm spray painting it black. Did only one primary coat today. From the looks of it, I'll be able to do only one a day within my daily schedule. Also, one guy from RTR180 thread was saying that it requires an extra bracket. If thats the case, I need to get it before I rip out the stock one. I cant go without the bike for long... Anyway, I'll check with a nearby mech tomorrow.

                          • @varun

bro the leak was from the inlet valve cap it is made of plastic in the new p220 so they cant tight it. joseph asked me to find the aluminum one of old p220 then he can fix it . right now he has put some tefflon seal to avoid the leak coming from the head. and i have went thrice to pbk saying this problem they tried to fix it 3 times but failed and the leak was really iritating as my bike is new so i went to joseph and my bike is all clear now

                            • @Varun ya the model name is Striker-LOSTLOVE. when i checked the BACHOO site they have only the Striker-CherryPopper model. Yes the LOSTLOVE will be more suitable for the BLACK CBR. Deciding to go for any of these when i get my bike

Yeah, need to meet him. Just like that, and i dont have transportation. So i thought i could hitch a ride.

                                Hope you bought muffler black.

Apply very thin coats, so thin that you can see the previous coat / bare metal, and then wait ~15-20 min before the next coat.

Be careful about the distance between the can and object, keep around 25-30cm. Any closer, paint will flow/drip , any further, paint is wasted.

Do not, after finishing one coat, try to get areas you missed. Get them in the next coat or else the coat thickness in the surrounding area will get high. Start with or do only the missed areas in the next coat.

Do not repeatedly spray one area even if you think the coat is too thin.

Do not try to empty the can. Near the end, the spray becomes coarse and you will have paint drops and dripping on your target - very ugly.

I can't emphasise more on spraying thin coats. I just painted my silencer, engine, frame, swingarm, handlebar holder, foot pegs, step holders, etc....

So im giving you the lessons i learnt, so you don't make my mistakes.

Let me know when you are goin to Mr. Joseph.
