@Binoy - I think I can understand your feeling. Well, you have waited this long, wait a bit more. Get a TD or two and then only buy it. What i feel is that, it may not have the rush of power after 100, but it will be definitely possible to cruise at 120-130+.

Yes but in many cbr250r forums which i read says its easy to cruise at 125kmph easily and many top speed videos the rush is there also. it moves to 150kmph so effortlessly. But as guru said the handling after 100+ makes me MAD.
Lets see we need to have a proper TD and the ownership experiences from many xbhp members also, after that only i will buy it. coz "chora viyarppakiya casha". i will not spend that money so simply.

But AFAIK (via review's) ,i never read anything abt Cruising above 100 being "scary".I get a feeling GS is comparing it with the bigger boys in most of the aspects.
Handling-again i think this was pretty expected.That the CBR is not going to be as good as the R15 on the tracks.
From what i have read i still think its a good buy,but all these have messed up your head so its better you wait.

Lets see,i have few friends who have booked the CBR,if they get it soon,ill surely give you my review on it

Doing 150+ on a bike like this would feel scary...on an MT01 or R1 it feels slow, controlled and safe. I did 100 on one stretch and I didn't quite feel like the bike was entirely in my hands.

When i read this line i too had the same feelings.
GS is planning a ride review of CBR250R along with ZMA and Ninja250R.
But one thing if the bike put a smile on my face, then that's it...

May be he was comparing it purely with ninja and he has a MT and TZR , but he also tours extensively on his zma. so cant completely ignore the review based on that fact.
the ninja hari's friend also is gonna take a cbr soon i believe..then we can get a ninja cbr camparo soon.. hope he sees this

@JJ: I suggest you check out the abarth paint job in white and red.
I suppose the current one is RD 350's stickering right? else you could use a metallic dualtone paint job with rd lines and fatter tyres. that shud give it more drool appeal with retro rd looks

@Binoy: IMO CBR250 is total vfm for that price. like ranjith said it might be that he rode it and compared the handling with bigger bikes. apart from that Honda had put so much engineering to it that It should be near perfect for a 250. even cycle world declared it winner in a shoot out between Hyosung 250 and Ninja (though it lose out just due to its carbeuration in USofA). So its total bang for money. Then again a wise decision is always made after a TD to decide whether the bike suits you or not

Attaching a pic of my Yamaha for those who haven't seen it.
We are discussing on repainting this particular bike...
The bike has been sporting this colour scheme for 4 years and few months...
I know Binoy will be tempted to mention a particular sticker on it. Yes, on the rear mud-flap it says, "Cars Suck."

Thanks @Nio these words make me lil relaxed. But i don't think GS has compared with big bikes, coz he knows which category it belongs etc. Anyways waiting for the bike to arrive in the showrooms and get a TD

Wayanad?Just came bak from a Wayanad-Mysore Trip! But Am in!You can never get too tired of Wayanad!Its SPECTACULAR!

But yes, pushing the dates to late june would be great! Even i have exams ! We should call for an All Kerala G2G,not just Tvm guys!Lets bring Cochin into the action as well! Post it in the Kerala Offline Thread as well! Cheers!!!
