Hey guys,

I am looking to go to Thenmala this Sunday. The route I have picked up is

Karunagappally, Kerala to Paruthippara, Trivandrum, Kerala - Google Maps

As I have to be in Karunagapalli to pick up a friend. Is this route good? Also, any pointers about the time that will be taken? I need to be in Trivandrum before 5pm or so so, what time I should I leave from thenmala?

I will be taking the car, any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Railway stretch between punalur and shenkottai
Deer rehab center
suspension bridge in Punalur

Any idea which order I should follow so that I do not end up spending up searching for places than enjoy the place itself?

Punalur-Thenmala-The railway stretch-Palaruvi. Better to get down at dam when returning from Palaruvi, anyway you have to come back to Thenmala. Dunno where this Deer rehab is . There is one trekking kinda setup in between Thenmala-Palaruvi stretch.

deer rehab is near to dam itself. been there once. Inquire at the eco tourism office there and they will give directions. its just within a kilometer from the dam entrance. Trekking also you can take tickets from the eco-tourism counter near thenmala dam. The office provides all the information you need regarding the places and facilities available there. Only the musical fountain is viewable at night and everything else is available at the morning. But one cant utilize every available facility in one single day. so choose your preferences wisely if its a time bound schedule.

Back from Kodaikanal yesterday evening Can't meet with lijo due to busy schedule at kodai. Enjoyed the Holiday with family there.

hmm.. seems everybody is pretty busy with their lives at this point of the year.we, poor students are all busy with xams, you with office, kannan with newly found passion for studies, lijo with his new second stage ghost apache.
sad that our SRCampaign didnt find place in this issue of the mag. was there any fault in the execution or updation? sorry if it was my prob not completing the log , believe its not so .

Saw a very few pics in fb, update with much more. hope you and lijo enjoyed it quite well, am waiting for pics from D3100 .

NOTE: Seeing this and praveen's new fb album on gavi provokes me to start another discussion on second all kerala g2g of 2011 to gavi .
