This goes to most of us here. We are rich during the first week of the month and can't say how we are placed during the rest of the month so being practical, why not we also consider doing around 1st week?

How about 30th Aug to 1st Sep or 6th Sep - 8th Sep??

Either of weekends would be feasible for salaried guys

Oh hell!!

Please please please guys, missed out last time, will be doing Leh circuit in July. Don't want to miss this time, waiting for the dates to finalized.
Am in for any day/time after 5th of Aug. *fingers crossed*

Jay, as we are visiting a hill station and practically this place get good amount of rain in monsoon, its best idea to avoid the place in peak rain season, although i still doubt that Aug 2nd week is also time when monsoon starts to show its fury. i would say if possible finish the G2G before Aug itself. but mid Aug also seems lil promising

South-west monsoon will be in full swing from mid July ..so August is also going to be a wet ride...

I too agree with you, but there're people who think if we don't ride in rain, we don't ride at all, only to wonder if I'd been riding on my CBR mounted on paddock. And not to mention all those newbies riding (or cornering) on steep hills with added trouble with water

Munnar also seems a fantastic place, but again you guys know it better down south. Maybe I can try and talk to some hotels etc if you zero in a destination and they can give us a good deal.

Rains would be a great time to ride and do photography, if we can take out our cameras that is, but not sure if everyone will be comfortable in riding in rains.

Like I said, its your initiative and we would like to join in, so once we know the details we will try to make our schedule around the G2G and arrange for bikes as well!
