What @sunilg said! This time we would like to be a part of this, and not only virtually! What I need to know is the date and the location.

@Praful: Is kodai "kodaikanal" that you are referring to? I personally love Valparai but not sure of accommodation options there! Munnar also seems a fantastic place, but again you guys know it better down south. Maybe I can try and talk to some hotels etc if you zero in a destination and they can give us a good deal.

Rains would be a great time to ride and do photography, if we can take out our cameras that is, but not sure if everyone will be comfortable in riding in rains.

Like I said, its your initiative and we would like to join in, so once we know the details we will try to make our schedule around the G2G and arrange for bikes as well!

Yes, Kodai = Kodaikanal.

Munnar and Valparai (also Kodai to a large extent) means one of the states travels very less. Since Munnar has already been done in 2011, and this time its TN's time its been zeroed in for Kodai.

Please let us know if you can find hotels since we too are in the process of finding a hotel that can meet our requirements.

The boys are still figuring out this list. And it would take some time since we have a few specific requirements like :-

• Not expensive (most important)
• Safe parking for about 60 odd bikes
• Decent food options (bikers get really hungry )

Praful not so expensive =? accommodation in twin sharing basis or dorm will do? Might be I too try to pull some strings here and there.

The Hotel Working is going on and will be zeroed in a week or so. Inspecting the hotel in person before finalizing to avoid any glitches.

I think it is time to start

1. Poll for the dates

2. Calling the designers to start the design of the Tee / Choice of T shirt color ( No Black this time pls )

i can sleep on the pavement, but bikes should be safe and secure

Take any hotel from Jayaraj group of hotels, they're good, but marginally above average price; what I mean is, they usually have large property to own around the accommodation (ideal for us) & good for the price we pay. Here're some...

Hye ! Have seen the report of the last one, and would love to be there for it this time!

Anyone riding from Manglore/Udupi area? Don't see anyone posting. Will be following this thread and try and make it if I can! As dates are yet to be decided, lets wait and see!

I shall be riding down from Mangalore (my starting point might change). I am expecting few more bikers from Mangalore to join me.
