The Official Delhi Offline Meet(G2G) Thread

It was a wonderful event and I enjoyed to the hilt. Although I did not get the opportunity to sweep a subgroup as I had requested, but I hope the senior members will show a little more faith in me the next time.

The best part for me was the intro and the ride back. Intro session because the older guys got to know a little something about the new members and vice versa. This for me was very well thought of. Praise to whoever came up with the idea.

The ride back was spectacular, 60+ bikes going in a single line, every pair of eyes on the nh1 was hooked on the arrow of bikers. It was great. A sunday very well spent.

I hope that more such rides are planned in the future. I'm already imagining what would 100+ bikes be like riding in a single group....

It is great to see such a wonderfully organised and executed group ride by you all. Such a large group moving together and with dignity is a sight to see. Which is why you all were literally ogled at. My congratulations to everyone for making this happen.

I had planned to ride along-with you all but something cropped up late on Saturday evening which precluded my participation on Sunday morning. And seeing the action in detail on the thread, I realise I missed something important. But then going by the new-found coordination and infectious enthusiasm towards getting together again, I am sure I'll get another opportunity and soon. Ride long and ride safe.....

What's the time to meet up at bypass? Is it 6 or 6:30.

Also, I'm bringing along another guy. He rides a discover 135 and is a level headed guy. I take full responcibilty for him and will make sure that he behaves according to xbhp rules. He has all the papers for his bike and himself. Is it fine if I bring him along?

Also, since there will be quite a few riders that are new to group riding, I suggest a small briefing session be held at bypass(as it is the last meeting point and ALL riders will be present there) to give some basic guidelines to the new guys about riding in a group.

Another thing is I suggest that we divide the entire grioup into smaller sub-groups of 10 or so people. This is because even with a leader and a sweeper, the guys riding in between tend to shuffle their positions quite a bit and 20 or so guys in a group might prove hard to handle. Hence I say that there should be 10 guys per sub-group.

I'd be honoured to be a sweeper of one of the sub-groups if the senior guys feel I'm capable enough for it.

Last sunday was my second ride with Xbhp, the first one being "the ride against corruption" when we went to Ramlila ground to support Anna Hazare. Although, I enjoyed the first ride, must admit that the last sunday's ride was a hell of fun. 60+ rides burning the tarmac and the other road users looking at us in awe. I have been visiting the dhaba regularly since 3 months but did not find it interesting. It was just like gathering with your freinds for time pass. So I quit going to dhaba. I was out of town when all the action began like chattarpur ride, ride to Dumduma etc. Never have I been so keen to get back to Delhi than this time just to be part of these group rides.

After posting the pictures on fb, I am gettiong various querries from my freinds if they can be part of these rides, the same people who used to mock that xbhp is all about stunting and showing off.

Thanks to all who put in efforts to make it a success!!!!

I would like to thank all members for making it a successful g2g,with the support of each individual we left the impression of good bikers in a state where Biker's definition is degraded to a very low level .All lined up in full riding gears without disturbing the traffic on road.This is what we are Xbhpians

Special thanks to Mr. Roger , Shivanshu bhai and Mr. Bhains ki aankh(always known you by this name,no offence) for maintaining the decorum and making ita memorable g2g for Panipat Riders,This is one stupendous g2g i have attended since my joining with meeting new faces and old good fellas. Looking forward to more such g2gs in future.

Hi guys,

Seems, i missed a gud ride last sunday... Of course I wudnt hv if, I wasnt miserably stuck swaying in a stinky Tamil Nadu Sampark express, returning frm Kodaikanal to Delhi, that day.

Kodaikanal btw sux! Ppl dnt visit, unless u madly want to try mushies.

I filled some fuel today, paid Rs. 200 for HP Power, and i am expecting 3 litres! To my shock it stopped at 2.8 litres!!! Seems i missed the news abt petrol price hikes aswell!! fook

Anyways if anyone is planning a ride this weekend, plz discuss..

Seems, i missed a gud ride last sunday... Of course I wudnt hv if, I wasnt miserably stuck swaying in a stinky Tamil Nadu Sampark express, returning frm Kodaikanal to Delhi, that day.
