Agreed. I am in with my 4 bikes, for 1st weekend in Feb. I know its long way off but already planning trip.

@Karthick - yes.:-) But i hope it will be dry during our planned time.

@all : The General idea about having a track day during a weekday is to get one whole day to ride without cars intervening the proceedings... I personally have a very sour experience on the track when riding around with cars on the track.... It does not look very pretty with oil leaks around the apex of a corner.....

Now, We will have a track day on the 18th if there are no rains... However, the major event cannot happen on that day, I cannot ask my friends from outside chennai to Risk it all and come here for a couple of days and go back without riding even for a single day.... So as far as the 18th is Concerned, I will have to turn it down.... However People who want to ride on the 18th, I will be there for you guys.... Lemme first check if the track is free...

@Xinfii : Your point has to be made very clear bro!!! It will not be like last time for sure....

@Stewarch : Good to see you back buddy... would love to see those bikes on track again... Just to tell you, Now the track officials are really strict about the riding around the track... After the track event, the previous National Championship round this month, The track has been booked by Lamborghini and Bentley and also by many manufacturers like Ford, TVS, Hyundai Etc...... After our track has become 'FIM OK', it has been booked for a minimum of 300 days out of a 365 day calendar year... SO weekends are pretty difficult and you will not be able to ride for the whole day.... Send a PM with your contact details, I will need some help from you in regards with transporting bikes for my friends in pune....

@ANANT: The national Championship round which was supposed to conducted this month got postponed to the 27th of December due to very heavy rains and un rideable conditions..... 25th might be OVER Crowded already.....

@pradeep Reddy : Good to see you buddy... WIll be expecting you at the event..

@all : If it rains, the track will be with Knee Deep water on all the corners.... The subway to enter the track will be close to traffic and uses will be forced to enter through the last corner.... It practically takes around 3 hours for the track to be water free if the water is pumped out of the track to make it ride able condition... If it rains within these three hours, then no use of the whole day again.... ABove all this, we are not going to be having officials to pump off the water nor dry up the track.....

with Bikes more than 250cc also being in the entrants list for the event... It is not safe for the bikes of such power without dry and warm tarmac and high and low siding will be very common........

I DID NOT MEAN TO DISAPPOINT ANY ONE BY TURNING THIS DATE DOWN.... I CLEARLY DID NOT HAVE A CHOICE...


BUT THE 18th is not Completely Off the charts........ Let us hope, the monsoons subsides by End of NOvember or atleast by First week of December.... If we have that much a couple of hot days... 18th might be on again........

@ Varun: With the 18th being ruled out, let us now finalize fresh dates altogether, and IMO it would be better if we have don't have any plans for 18th because the last time we had a lot of people on the track to help out during spills, i suspect the number of members on 18th would be only a handful and we wouldn't want a unpleasant situation where we are stranded due to lack of hands. What do you say?

LOL.... NOt ruled out completly.... If the conditions permit... we might even have a three day event... lol !!! But i dun want to take a gamble... Lets see how this turns out to be.....
