We knows, Sir Sunny will show up wherever it may be...

Beauty of this thread is that, we know clearly before the thread starts, who all will post in this thread.. Yes thats the beauty of this event.

Now coming back to the subject, I will suggest southern part of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram/kollam distructs,

Riding through Kerala all the way to Thiruvananthapuram will be painful. But we can consider riding through TN the long way.

It doesn't matter much for me any way. But getting off those hills is my suggestion.

    Kilometers are any way kilometers

    Primary Questions are:

    1. When?
    2. How many Days?
    3. Where ? [I think this doesn't matter for many of us]
    4. Tshirt Design (We have one in list from last year?)

Or for a change, this year, can we stay somewhere accommodation is feasible etc & then have ONE DAY ride (not more than 100 Km though) through the scenic? What I mean is, If Vagamon has expensive accommodation, then we can find somewhere close to Vagamon & then ride through.
Ya, I have done this stretch and it was really a complete bliss.
As you suggested for ONE DAY ride, and can stay at other affordable places, we can stay at Muvattupuzha. The road from Muvattupuzha to Thodupuzha is good and easily doable. Will easily cover 20kms of fine road with 25-30 mins with very less or no traffic. From Thodupuzha the roads are superb and will get good greenery. I remember the uphill ride from Moolamattom to Kulamavu is crazy and will enjoy that stretch, specially the Hill riders.

Anyways it would be good that KL brothers propose for the plan and decide on the place and accommodation and so we can enjoy the ultimate plan, instead of getting hassled by any lame suggestions or preachings.

                  Thanks for tag aargee..!!

even i was about to suggest Wagamon,I had gone to wagamon with my friends, what we did was stop at Thekkady, stayed there overnight and went on to Wagamon, there was a lot of time in hand when done like that, we even enjoyed boating at Thekkady, which was a great experience. But the problem of not having affordable accommodation(with ample and safe parking) will be there. How about ponmudi ? It is really spacious up there once you reach ponmudi, but it will be really really far for a few riders... I have been there, but no idea of the accommodation.
2 days programs seems fine i guess..!!

Krishna, I think accommodation will be a problem at Ponmudi. as far as I know.
Distance will be there for one or the other. Another guy was not happy when I suggested a place saying it is very close! That guy will suggest more places soon

TVM guys, can be of more assistance there i guess.

Good to see the thread is up and discussion have begun. It will be a pleasure for KL to host the ISG2G if all are game for it.
How about a Beach instead of Hill station this time? Just a suggestion since it's KL.

@krish2778, there is government guest at Ponmudi which could be arranged at a cheaper rate compared to the KTDC one you are talking about but the catch is I'm not sure about their capacity. 50+ could be doubtful.

Not many people know, But Idukki would actually be a great place to ride to.
The Thodupuzha-Kulamavu stretch is a brilliant road for bikes. The road is wide winding tarmac(Top notch till Paramada after Kulamavu) and has less traffic.
There are many scenic spots in between and 12 hair pins on route. We'll be riding over the Kulamavu Dam as well while on the route to Idukki.

In addition, there are two trail roads as well for people who like a bit off off-roading. One is to Ilaveezhapoonchira(Need to turn right just before Kanjar)and the next is to Calvary Mount which is some 8Kms into Kattappana route after Idukki. Then there is a place called Uppukunnu near Paramada, The view from up there is quite something, best visited in October-September for people into Photography though.
To finish First, first you must Finish!

Celebrity anna..!! Beaches will be extremely Hot at that time of the year, and not to mention all of us riding in group will attract a really huge amount of crown and would be a hindrance for us to have a peaceful event, not to mention of some numbnut shows up and causes any troubles...!!! So...just my suggestion, I think beaches will be a tough call.
