While everyone is drooling over ISF, most seem to have ignored the upcoming National Supercross Championship 2012 to be held at Amanora on 29.4.2012 from 2.30 pm onwards.

Entry is free.

Good that you brought it up.. I was planning on going..

Hey folks!
A friend and I are planning on a trip down south on May 1, 2 and 3.
This is the route we intend to take.

Day 1:Pune-Bangalore-Mysore
Day 2: Mysore-Payyanur
Day 3: Payyanur-Mangalore-Ankola-Dharwad-Pune

This is the Google doc which has the plan we have thought out.

We are pretty confident of NH4 till Bangalore, and the route from Bangalore to Payyanur. We are looking for a few inputs on the NH17 (now NH 66) from Mangalore to Ankola (via Udupi, Kundapur, Bhatkal). Has anyone been there recently? We are looking to get an update on the road condition. Preliminary enquiries with a few friends seem to suggest that they are pretty ok, but we are looking for some more concrete input if we can get it. You can find the map here

This is going to be our first really long ride! Been preparing and researching for a while to do this ride. Really excited! Hope things go as per plan.

The ad in the news paper mentioned the start time as 2.30 PM, The entry to the supercrosss may be free , it was free last time too.

there were around 7-8 exhibits

one was from cops which had bikes from pune adn mumbai around 20-25 in number.

the others were from aprilia, bmw, hyosung, PRS, DSG, HD they all had some bikes.... the daytona 675 was not there....

around 30 more bikes were about to arrive....

thats a video of the COPS exhibit, sorry for the poor quality of the pics and video, they were both shot by a mobile cam and my amateur at best skills didnt make it better
