Are you saying about shiv shambo automobiles, please dont send any of the guys from pune chapter or they will bash you up, as his servicing was pathetic from day one and huge bills on everything and get your bike screwed not serviced frankly.

Does anyone know where i could find a polishing gun? The one used for polishing fiber and metal based panels. Planning to polish the bike at home. Also costing of the machine (if you know)

Please dont reply by posting just the shop name or locality as whole which cannot be found on google.

Simple solution use formula1, waxopol or turtle wax and take a scrotch brites soft sponge which comes in thin layers and start rubbing on clean parts with wax from the visor to the last part of fibre you see and repeat the same with other side of sponge. You are done.

I know how to polish man, 4th bike till now in 8years of riding. Just that this one has toooooooo many panels to polish. But yeah i will be doing the handjob only.

True that. There are a lot of good products available nowadays. Try Meguiars products. I use it on my bikes and cars. Huge difference in feel and protection.

A polishing unit is good provided you know how to use it effectively. Use of your upper limbs is good enough for a typical enthusiast. Otherwise, the Meguiars polish unit is available for Rs. 14,288.

The best I have used till date is Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. Its from a US based company. It comes in liquid form which needs to be applied on the paint and then wipe off after few minutes. Than why you need all the machines and all experiments to shine your bikes, aas paas ki aur khudki 4 bikes ko itna saaf rakhne ka experience toh hain na. Waise R15 ke fairing itna maintenance mangte nahi re, and the amount you would spend on machine in that much amount if you add some more money and replace all panels after 2 years.

I use ArmorAll Wash-n-Wax + 2 Microfibres (1 for actually applying the wash-n-wax and 1 for normal water wipe) + 1 chamois cloth for finally wiping the bike dry.

Shampoo which leaves a layer of wax after the wash. Atleast thats what the label says.

I use a spare person in my office to wash and clean the bike

Query closed from myside.

Freaking machine cost Rs5750. Called up Bosch Pune Dealer. Its a proper polishing machine with those buffers.

EDIT - Got another info, the machine should have motor which is capable or generating 500 to 1500 rpms only. This is perfect for polishing or chances of fiber parts breaking are more. If you need for metal surfaces then the machine should have 1800 to 2400rpms speed, works perfect to remove dirt and other dust particles, even those orange rusted marks (use rubbing compound).

You can buy the deal that comes in Times of india it has a basic dril along with other tools , i have used it has setting for Slow/fast speed and Normal/reverse rotation... the entire kit is for 2500-3000 i gues... buy the kit... Try Junabajar also
