What is all this fuss about? Last 2 G2Gs I attended (I do confess to have not attended that many in the past year ), but in both I had something technical and biking related to discuss.

The usual course has always been like this:

Starting off with bharat milaap bakar, hi/hello, mc/bc, CBR breakdowns , faale return my knee guards/ gloves, motorsport, did you see that post by that moron on so and so thread hahahaha.
Moving on to 'chal chal bhukh lagi' butter chicken / burger.
Over dinner and afterwards till the time we leave: Something meaningful related to past / future rides, breakdowns, engines, pistons, cornering, niggles, HIDs, blown fuses etc, etc, etc.

Of course, people who tend to leave early never get to this last bit so I would suggest that people come to G2G, even if the come late. Because thats the time the real biker discussions happen.

I seriously dont know what is the fuss about topics and code of conduct. I have never had a g2g where the topics involved sarees and petticoats. It has and will continue to be about biking.

Technical topics has been washed out lately, this is one thing that can be checked for a solution as to why so. One on one doubts are solved in front of other members.

Ride plans are taking place during g2g itself. G2g's are kept to decide where the next weekend ride takes place.

Why this kolaveri now?

I had a Physics (of all subjects... curves and shapes and...) teacher in Std VII who was magnificently endowed. Jesus H Christ. Make all that CAPS. As I was the most "studious" kid in class, I had had to sit on the first bench. There, every day, I used to be subjected to the torture of seeing yet not believing, seeing yet not touching... I got highest marks in Physics that year, whether due to my studying or appreciation from the teacher is moot. She went away in St VIII and broke my heart

As far as i remember we had some good discussions by NV, Sagar and other senior folks at The Moto Cafe, Many of them had tried to do a technical video/presentation in grubshub and rooplali but it was not success as manish pointed out that 25% are doing tech talks, Rest all have formed groups and are outside discussing something else.

Last time also when i arrived at grubshub i observed people came at 8:30 and ran for dinner in 30 minutes time. Comeon guys if a G2G is planned and if meet is happening than why dont you stuff your stomach at 6 or 7 pm so you are not hungry and can have a meaningful discussion atleast for an hour.

Its more like we all come from office split in groups half out of grubshub half splitted and talking some technical.

Remaining people come after the dinner and say they are leaving.

Take the G2G we had in 2008-09-10-11 all were meaningful g22g, we dint carried ppt or videos but used to talk lot of technical having limited venue of roopali and the bengali sweets near pune university and the discussion used to involve every member.

So its all on individual whether you wanna do your bedroom and new gf gossip separately in close circle or speak in front of all members avoiding separate groups.

mumbai folks ought to be well trained in boarding running trains.

ha ha ha! oh well... boarding a running train is less life threatening than trying to board a loaded / overhung PMT @ Shani-Paar or Wishram Baug Wada signal ;-)
infact all the motorcycle commuters in mumbai prefer riding their 2-wheels to work so they can avoid the demented local train commute!
incidentally, u folks dont have a g2g planned for tomorrow or the day after... else wud have certainly attended it.
i am driving down w/ wifey + kid to pune on saturday morning for family stuff... will be killing time @ wyadeshwar on saturday evening 7.30 onwards & drive back to thane like a dutiful driver... err... husband on sunday evening!

1. For every week, there will be seperate dress code.
2. Late comers will be punished by giving snacks party to all the members.
3. Month end pe exam liya jayega, jo fail kiya usse agle G2G pe seminar dena padhega.
