Been there, done that. Never ever date a biker girl, she redlines before you even warm up. I know a guy who had a biker girlfriend, all that he was left with after she left him is a chopped up left index finger. Well, it does remind him of her every time he pulls in the clutch.

I don't know if you read the article in the link. And neither do I know about your injured friend's story. All I can say is that any relationship that redlines, whether with a woman or with a motorcycle, is bound to break down sooner than later. And the result is such injuries.

Perhaps you could enlighten the thread about your own seemingly considerable experience (been there, done that) rather than quote that of somebody else, which in itself seems to me to be pretty strange.

hello xbhp'ians,warm greetings.can someone let me know where can i get p220 frnt tire at reasonable rate in pune or in pimpri. also if anyone want to recommend other than stock tire i would like to go for it, based on ur experience.i'll be riding back to chEnnai on 31 dec.cheers,satya

One guy fitting exact description of Santa Clause will be present as his annual appearance on this G2G. Don't know whether this santa will bring gifts or will load you guys up with food bill

I had a query, don't know if it's the right place to ask.
I was looking to buy brass badges which can be put on a bike. Specifically the cross swords with Asoka emblem in between (the army symbol).
Any suggested place in Pune which sells those?

You can get it from makati store in camp and there one shop inside NDA ( Gole market) that sells it as well.
Why do u wanna put if i may ask?

Thanks for the info! I'll be buying a TBird soon, I think it will go well on that empty space on the mud guard and also wanted to flaunt the army lineage

I am posted to Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan.

Anyone interested in joining up for the ride is welcome.

Here is the route:


I shall be in Ahmedabad on 20 or 21 Jan at about 0800h. The bike's rear wheel needs alignment after the post sprocket change ride up from Rajkot. I plan to move after lunch and halt at Pali (288 kms). Next halt is planned at Bikaner (235 kms) and the last halt at destination Sri Ganganagar (247 kms)

Please PM me if anyone wants to ride along.
