In a bid to promote safe riding and also to get some more visibility,
I was thinking of organising a meet in various schools/ housing societies etc. in and around the city where a group of Xbhpians could explain the safety aspects and importance of gear, following traffic rules with PPT and stuff.
What say guys?

Discussed in the G2G today...was in a rush to get back to office, didnt get the final outcome. Some rules coming up...(surprise)...NV sorry couldnt hold back!

Important Notice

Important Notice:

As was discussed in the meeting yesterday, pls. find below some of the important points to be followed in each of members attending the Pune xBhp rides.

1) Proper Riding gear:

• Helmet - ISI, ECE, DOT approved.
• Jacket - Preferable riding jacket, if no then a wind-cheater is mandatory.
• Knee + elbow guards
• Gloves - Preferably the armoured ones.
• Proper Shoes - no slippers or sandals.

Note: If anybody is not wearing any of the above the same would be sent back to get the same.

Note: If anybody is looking out for riding gear then all those who require any specific riding gear can place a collective order so that Ritwik can help in availing discounts.

NV would be posting the format for the same soon.


2) Important bike documents:

• Valid Insurance certificate/policy.
• Valid driving license.
• Valid PUC.

Note: If anybody is not having any of the above documents then he would be sent back to get the same.


All these points are to be checked physically checked by the initiator of the ride or by Myself/NV/Ritwik/Sagar.

If these are not adhered to by ANY of the members, then it may lead to expulsion of that member from the group.

Sorry for taking such harsh steps this time, but everyone should understand that its for their own good and safety.

Not every point is being followed man in the riding gear part..

Yup, there was an incident which led to this...cant really discuss abt it though here.
