The Triumphs are coming up with the showroom as B U Bhandari has got the dealership for Pune and are going to come up with a showroom next to their Volkswagen showroom in Pashan.
The guy to get in touch with is Ashwin Deshpande # 9850066633.

Have been talking to him since yesterday about the bookings and On Road Prices for the bike in Pune. Tentative OnRoad price fr Street Triple is INR 879722 and for Daytona 675R is INR 1320696.

Any clarifications/disputes/doubts to be done on pricing, please get in touch with the guy mentioned above in place of hanging me off the board.. I am just providing info that I have.

I spoke to the guy today. The showroom will open in the first or second week of Mar. Incidentally, Mr Desh lurks around on the forum but is not a member as per his own admission.

The Bonnie would be Rs 6,76,196 OTR. Mr Desh has promised to keep me updated on the progress of bookings, deliveries etc.

One aspect he mentioned struck me as a bit strange. Triumph Bangy or Hyd will NOT sell a bike to a customer who gives a Pune or Delhi address. In effect, one must give a local address to buy a Triumph from Delhi, Bangy, Hyd or Pune.

Does the above situation prevail for other brands too? I bought my Pulsar Classic in 2002 from Sri Ganganagar (where coincidentally, I am currently posted) but gave my Pune address and there was no hassle.

Not Sure if this is the case. As I had been talking with Rebel Motors, Hydbad (040-23384444/5555) for a ST/Bonnie and got the details about gettin the bike from Hydbad to Pune. The person there, Mr Raj, himself continued discussion on this note that they have already sold bikes to Delhi and Mumbai without any fuss about it.

Had a quotation from them for Hydbad OnRoad for ST and Bonnie. May be some more charges here and there...!!

Till the time a local showroom does not open, dealers are open to sale bikes in that area. However, once it does, they are asked to refrain from it. Anyway temporary registration becomes a costly affair so most people tend to buy from local showrooms.

Hey Guys,

We are planning a Interstate G2G on March end or in April.Please help us decide the dates based on your availibility.Once the dates are decided we will start voting for the locations.Maharashtra is hosting this for the first time.Location will be decided such that,it is feasible for both KA and GJ brothers to reach in a day or day and a half.Your valuable suggestion on locations will be most welcome.
