@ZMAtic, the helmet costs 1700 in that form. I, Inflammable and Vishwas uncle have the stickered variant, it costs 1850. This is a pretty good deal. BUT (there is always one, ain't it a *****) this model has too much wind noise at any speeds above 60. But that doesn't stop me from maxing out my bike at least once every week . Anyways, choose wisely.

P.S.: The locking mechanism feels solid (there is a reassuring 'Click' sound when it is locked into place) but I haven't tested it to the limit as yet .

As a part of safety awareness week progresses in our company, they have tied up with a vendor who has showcased above Bulean Helmet for a discounted corporate price of 1190/-. Is this price worth a deal.. this one does not have graphics, only nice looking plain color. What i am apprehensive is the front flap may come undone if it has a impact and wouldnt serve the purpose of safety.... Anyway how good is the price?

@ Satyen, please share the Insurance wala's no. Will he accept cash payment and issue a cover right on the spot?

I have the same helmet. My roommate has the same one too. He bought his in Feb 2008, I got mine in Mar 2009. It cost both of us 2k. His piece's build quality and the material used is way different and superior than mine.

I remember u telling me that u get a lot of wind noise in ur helmet while we were at a g2g in roopali, and at that time, I had no idea what u were talking about. Then a few weeks back, I tried on my friend's helmet (same Vega Boolean one) bought in June 2010once, and I understood what u were talking about.

My point is that this model of theirs sells a lot and there is a tangible difference in quality along with the falling price. But as far as saving the head goes, I'm still quite happy with what I feel the helmet can do (haven't tested it yet touchwood).

it cost me 3K design of my choice the guy start's with what kind of design you want higher the graphic more goes the cost. mine was a bit notorious as took the flames for NFS and googled the skull and then had in put together. with Lycra (Gloss Finish) at the last. they guy is in mumbai.
Note: if u see in my Profile pic i am holding the same helmet with stock sticker that Studd have pasted.

Amba ghat will be remembered forever ..... had a wonderful low-side over there... i guess i was doing some 80-85 kmph when that happened.... but thanks to the gears, I didn't get a single scratch.....
Special thanks to Khisitij for lending me his knee-guards... without them i would have been bed-ridden right now....

btw, today morning, a car hit my bike from behind when i was waiting at a intersection.. bugger even skipped a red signal light.. i could not note the number of the car..no major damage to bike, only rear mudguard slightly bent..
