    Pune to Satara --> Good roads with reasonable traffic. Watchout for cabbies who will overtake you from your left hand side.

    Satara to Kolhapur -->Nice Stretch. Medium traffic.

    Kolhapur to Belgaum-->Easy to cruise

    Belgaum to Hubli-->Smooth as Makhan

    Hubli to Tumkur-->The roads between haveri and chitradurga are meant to have some surprising pot holes. Though I have not done this stretch , but got this latest info from a friend from blore. And yeah not to mind very steep diversions with big stones placed all around them .

    Tumkur to Blore-->Traffic+Dust+Skilled KSRTC drivers

    If possible try to cover the hubli bangalore stretch in day light.

    Wish you a safe and happy joureny.

            Hehheh! I came here on the 28th and have to return tonight. I was going to arrive here on 18th and plan a big New Year's bash with you guys. Pan British Airwaysche loka agdi dhusskan paadle ani saglya flights cancel kelya, karan airportvar barfa sathla ani te alshi ondhe ghari basun ande ghalat basle! Mhanun lavkar yeta ale nahi re! Translation, so I don't get banned:But British Airways farted big time and canceled all the flights due to heavy snow on airport, and did little to clear it up. That's why I could not reach here earlier. And bad luck continued as when I came here I found out that the bike battery was dead. So I could not meet you guys for even one day. I am to return tonight

            • Yesterday G2G was really good, rockrz was the hero of the meet.

              I think we should have more G2G like this where there is maximum participation.

              • Truly,yesterday's G2G was one of the best with so many people attending. 1st G2G of 2011 and it was splendid. Respect to Rockrz for such a presence of mind in such a testing situation.Finally 2 points were concluded from the story Rockrz elaborated yesterday.
                1. The no. of goons is still not clear. They may be 2,3 or even a single person. It may be highly possible that Rockrz was high that time and may have made a counting mistake.
                2. Anant doesn't leave anybody alone at night. 'Mein raat ko kisiko akela nahi chodta'. People touring at night with him, a word of caution.

                • Yesterday's turnout was really big. It was my first ever G2g at Roopali and it was great meeting people after a loooong time. And the star of the evening was Rockrzz. Got a chance to hear Rockrzzz ki "Great Escape" kahaani, Rockrzz ki zubaani

                  I guess we should rename him to Boxerzzz

                  • @KTJ I must clarify here.. When I said "Mai raat ko kisi ko akele nahi chhodta" What I meant was if I happen to venture out in the dark alone.. I ensure the people riding with me prior to me going along alone have some company. If they dont.. I stick along..

                      a hilarious twist in my dreamy escape story......

                      yesterday, when i was asleep, i dreamt that it was actually 1 guy, i was drunk, so first i punched him, then i ran over him, then i caused him to crash and finally i got him nabbed.. lol

                      what antz meant was "MAIN RAAT MEIN KISI KO NAHIN CHODTA". lol

                      my comments in bold

                      to be serious, I understand that when antz mistook the route via tamhini, as the one that we had decided, & hence he expected that i will be coming via that route. that day, it was antz as well as my bad luck that we rode seperate.

                      the route via tamhini is even worse for night riding especially for a first timer.

                              I will be somewhere on NH4 (between Haveri and Bangalore) on the 10th, probably midday.

                              Very unlikely to be make it to Haveri by that time I think it would be atleast 5 by the time i reach there. If earlier, it would be good to meet a green NInja
