Our beloved Hyydroxide had gone offroading alone near talegaon and went straight tumbling down a big fackin valley. Braking was insufficient as the slope was too steep and the bike went accelerating untill it slid ; it was a crash into the valley.

EDIT 1 : gloves...knee gaurds...all shredded..
EDIT 2 : He is fine and the offroader rode the bike back home after being saved by a nearby fisherman. Dont know what a fisherman was doing in the valley but whatever. Bottom line : Hydro is fine and had to take only a day off from office.

Fellows.. nothing serious .. minor stuff ..
a little accidental ride down a small valley and a fall at the bottom of it..
the mount of the handlebar has loosened .. but thats the only damage on the bike (since there's really nothing else on it to get damaged)..

i had some abrasions.. knee.. since knee guards also slid away from my knee.. right glove now has a hole at the bottom, and thats where i have a bruise too .. and some part of the bike .. probably footpeg went over my toes (shoes) .. so, some minor pain there ..

I'm fine .. in office.. doing well ..

The shop is located on Tilak road near Swargate. Opp. Pandit Automotive showroom (indica showroom). It is a stand alone building having 3 floors.

They sale cycles from 6-7k to 3L. I know all this because this is bang opposite my own office.

Well after reading the posts in this thread for past few days, at first I thought this isn't that serious and some kind of TP... but I guess it is quite serious..

WTF! "..Into a valley" is a big thing to say, you sure it wasnt a ditch or something. Good that he is fine.
Thats the reason why we all decided(at the Safety Meet) to atleast take along ONE other rider with us where ever we ride, anyways alls well that ends well.

Ohh, I didn't know that. The only person I know from Pune who uses cycle is Niranjan. I had read his incident which happened on the Airport road.

Well yes, am gonna use it for an hour every morning or late night. am switching back to cycle after almost 7-8 years I was thinkin bout buyin one since last 2-3 months. I've been reading the bikeszone forum since some time and quite a lot of info is there on that forum. Let's see...

Hey praveen nice to hear that you are alive and safe, i had thought you are away from mother earth and in some other lost planet, and finally hear about your crash in talegaon that too in some nala

Somehow I doubt whether it was the bikes issue or was it something intoxicating which made you loose control when you went offroading in the nala
