I utsav, karthik had the most unplanned ride ever to alibaug as we had started our journey to reach matheran but landed in alibaug and majority of the ride while going was in pitch black roads where you wont find a single soul. While coming had a different route via roha- mulshi- tamhini, again a road which was 60% full of potholes and un even roads and slopes but it was a new experience for me with my bike and i noticed that it handles beautifully given any kind of roads.

So utsav, how did ur bike perform? how about max speed you touched?
Any prob with the rev meter getting struck?

Hey Utsav,
sorry I couldnt talk to you for long when you had called. I was busy on the other line.

But tbh, i dont know if it was someone pulling a fast one on me.

First a guy spoke about some kneegaurds he saw in some pictures or something. Then some other guy came over the phone and spoke of the Fireblade. I didnt know whether the guy wanted the knee gaurds or the fireblade. Then I heard someone in the background say "le tu hi baat kar abhi"
thats when the voice changed. But the guy insisted that it has been him talking to me all along.

It clearly wasnt ! lol

Then the guy said he had been to a Honda showroom to ask for the fireblade but wasnt happy with the info they gave him. He was expecting a different price and a different power output. This he told me all the while without mentioning what the showroom guys told him for price and what power output was he expecting out the blade. Upon asking which showroom he had been to, he replied wakdewadi showroom. Aha ! But the wakdewadi showroom is a HERO HONDA showroom and not a Honda showroom. So they cant tell anyone anything about any Honda Superbike.

It seems utsav was already confused so he himself dint know whether he is joking or serious, waise Utsav, there is one Honda showroom on the old mumbai- pune highway, where they keep lot of dazzlers out, dont they keep fireblade? Had you gone there? Its next to mercedes benz showroom or mahindra one.

I will tell you. You were not talking to me. You were talking to Avinash or his brother. What happened actually, my friend wants to buy a superbike 1000cc+ and he was bugging me. He rides an RTR 150cc E-surge (old one). I dont want him to buy a 1000cc as he is highly reckless rider and with such a powerful bike at his service I seriously am very very afraid. He never wears a helmet, rest of the gears he never bothered to buy. Although he visits xBhp sometimes but never posts. He happened to see you here and also find you on fb and see your Fireblade pics. He wanted to speak to you and only you as I have no idea about SBKs. He went to a HH showroom to enquire abt a honda SBK. He walked into Probiking (Nr. Wadia College) and had asked for a Ninja 800cc (I never heard about this).

He expects the price to be around 9~13lakhs on road including papers, tax and insurance. I have never dealt with those things nor have any idea on those bikes hence I dailed ur number and gave them the cellphone (he and his big brother) to talk with you.

Knee Guards...I think it was avinash himself. He recently had broken his knee guards.

We did see dogs in an abundance.
Rev meter did get stuck twice while going. Max speed 110 : cruised
