Also do we need to book in advance for the slot? If not at what time should I be there to get the bike serviced? Will they give the bike back on same day?

One last question how good is the service??

I am planning to get the bike serviced tomorrow.

If not then you are in trouble....most of pune PBK showrooms are useless with pathetic service...i have changed three of them and still not satisfied...one of em BK automobiles even damaged spark plug while SVC.....

No dude....he is one of the crappiest one ever....
I had given for routine servicing....
That guy said there is a need to change the engine oil seal....since there was oil spill near the silencer inlet....Green signal for him....5pm i go for delivery the bike resist to go over 5k RPM....(my bike is completely stock apart from decals)..
he was stunned too...after a test ride he says you need to change the clutch plates....i was like woaaaaahhh...this problem was not there in the morning when i had come to drop the bike how come this hapend suddenly....he was like no....very adamant and that pathetic owner too....i said iam not paying a glitch but want this to be repaired...he denied...then moved to a very decent motul mechanic who fixed the problem

It was regarding spark plug fitting...when he opened the cam cover for oil seal he dint fix the left side spark plug properly....it chipped inside and was causing the bike not to go ahead 5krpm....so had to replace em....the mechanic identified the problem in one go......

We both laughed out when i told him that he was pointing regarding clutch plate change.....also i beleive the servicing is overly charged.....they dont have motul either...you need to put only the Bajaj sick coconut oil.......

Phew....this small thing happend with two of my friends too.!!! later came upon a conclusion that he might be doing this to gain money...he might be purposely fixing the spark plug in wrong manner charge customers atleast rs2000 (thats wat he told me for clutch plate change) and then just repair the problem by installing the spark plug in right manner!!!!!

Hope you have clear judgement regarding BK now!!!!

If you stay close to Aundh/Baner, there is a SVC centre called Sai Service. I have been servicing my bike from the same place so far. Im not sure if services 220-fis as well, but my opinion is that he should.

The SVC is reasonably good. For additional info ...call me 0-8008600990

Bad!! Btw, I have given my bike twice over there during my free services and he seemed to be good. And, I always carry engine oil along with me and ask them to change in front of my eyes.

Since the free services got over, I take my bike to Castrol Bike point in Kothrud. I have been getting all my bikes serviced from him for past couple of years. Highly recommended!

You start your statement with 'I can imagine' and yet make it look like you are putting forth a very convincing argument ignoring all the while that you had only set out imagining everything.

Allow me to enlighten a few things.
                              Riding today consists of
                              1. Sport Riding
                              2. MX /Dirt riding
                              3. Touring
                              4. Stunting
                              5. Trials

I will only attempt to elaborate a little on Sport Riding since you seem to be completely aloof of its existence.
In sport riding the emphasis is on technique. We have had countless riders coming in and thumping their chests saying " I dont need techniques and the bookish knowledge"
These are the riders who crash out the very first time they even attempt to tackle a corner. How big is the technique ? Big enough to sustain multiple competitive events to the tune of MotoGP and WSBK and create the likes of Rossi and Augustini and Guy Martin and McGuiness and Lorenzo and Stoner.
Now, riders riding to lavasa are almost 100% of the time found practicing certain techniques. Find me one rider who goes to Lavasa regularly and is an A hole to talk to and I shall bow to you. If u wanna hate on someone cause that someone simply is a better rider and doesn't believe in your touring philosophy then by all means please do so. But right now the only person spewing some unwanted not-needed attitude is YOU !

Atleast attend a few lavasa rides and get to know what goes on there so that I could give a shit about your prejudices. Else, keep to talking sweet to fellow xBHP members.

                              Mkaythxbai !
