Weekend Ride to Vardayini Falls
Date- 23rd July 2011, Saturday
Time- 6:30am @ Chandni Chowk
Distance- Around 250+ kms round trip.
Venue- Vardayini Falls near Nagothane on NH17
About Vardayini falls: Vardayini falls gets its name from the local Vardayini Devi temple, meant to be the local devotee and also famous for attracting huge crowds from places far due to its powers. Vardayini Temple is situated high on the hills and a way different from the waterfall way goes to it. Locals say if you ask a wish at Vardayini devi temple it comes true and therefore the name- Vardayini.
Points to be taken care of:
1. If someone has confirmed for the ride and will not be able to turn up, please inform beforehand so that we do not have to wait.
2. Please carry a valid license with you and bike RC/PUC/Insurance papers.
3. Helmets & Riding Gears- compulsory for riders. Helmets compulsory for pillions also. No pillions allowed without helmet. Anyone without helmet will be told to return back (It is for your own safety).
4. Female riders/pillions are also welcomed.
5. Please carry an extra key in lieu of any unwanted loss of the original.
6. Please carry a water bottle/eatables along.

By the way there is this guy Mr. Bharat Tukaram Waghurde...you can park your bikes safely in front of his house and he can even arrange for some good food for you all...in case you need the number let me know..

Varadayini Waterfall Xbhp G2G 26 SEP 2010A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels,scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

met the vardayini group today morning.only 3 of us reached at 6:30.it was around 8-8:30 when everyone finally landed up.krishna himself being the 2nd last to arrive!
wish i could continue for the ride.
hope to see the pics soon.

Had an amazing ride.. with a cracked silencer pipe, sounding like a luna... :P
It was 8 when we started , and came back by 10 pm..
spending time at a few spots..
