Shrinath: RIde the bike with the lamps turn off for may be 35kms and check.
I suspect its a battery issue

Theres some news about a bomb being found in Koregaon park and hence the roads are sealed. This might be a rumour.
Anyone around who could confirm that!

Anyone has idea how will be the road condition from pune to dapoli and can suggest a reasonable cost wise place to stay, as i am going for first time and absolutely no idea about the place.

I'd gone with a few others about 2 months back.. We took this route..

Roads are not the best from bhor to varandha ghat, very good scenery around varandha ghat.

Then you join NH17 and roads become pretty good. Ride till Kashedi ghat (that's what its called i think) amazing ghat this is, 100 times better than lavasa if that's a standard to go by..
