Had read out many conversation last night,and after going through many post, my search got finish for a perfect riders group.
as i was searching from last few months and now i am sure that
i can get a little place in your group to learn and get to know many
things from u all !
As i am crazy about bikes.
but now wants to go on a proper ride with u guys.
As i am having a pulsar180
With an experience of riding a bike from PUNE to JALGOAN i.e 420 km in 5hrs.
and PUNE to MAHABALESHWAR in 1hr 30 min.

I Hope your co. will give me a tremendous experience

Welcome to XBHP . For joining the ride do read the terms and conditions of page one . And before jumping into a ride, try to get into G2G and familarize a little with folks. This will help you decide which category you fall in. By the way this seriously look like CV to me

Welcome outlaw to xBhp. I am sure that you will find some equally passionate riders in this group. We have an amazing mix of cornering junkies, serious tourers and extremely serious commuters (like me) in this group.

Please understand that we do NOT race/stunt and we do not have any entry criteria based on how fast you ride. Some riders here may be faster than you some may be slower. It does not matter as long as you are passionate about bikes.

However, if you insist, you can compete with one of our rocket riders who had covered Kolhapur to Pune distance in 43 minutes.

As already pointed out by others, please read the first post of this thread to understand basic requirements which you need to fulfill to join on rides. However, you are welcome to join out weekly meets anyways.

I had rode via sangamner till delhi phata and the roads were quiet good. further i took my route to shirdi from the junction but overall roads were good and cross winds were mind blowing.

For some awesome crosswind riding, I recommend the ride from Bharuch to Dahej and from Ahmedabad to Rajkot. On both rides, the right hand side of your front and rear tyre will wear out faster than the rest of the tyres, that is the angle at which one has to cant the bike! Bad stuff.

The gear mentioned in the first page, are all of'em compulsory??
I dont think i will be able to get anything other than a lid and gloves for a few months
i'm broke

well..try to get jacket aswell.rest of the stuff like boots and knee guards are not necessary.regular jeans and sports shoes would suffice for now.nobody can get everything at 1 go.i too got lid then gloves and then jacket.& then went on my first ride with the xbhpians.will take lot of time to get the remaining stuff as need to save a lot first.

kerosene is really tough to get man...its actually banned.i needed it to remove tar off my car..finally used petrol

Hi Kmph...,
From my personal experience, I recommend elbow & knee guards (it won't cost much) since these joints take a lot of beating in case of any type of accident. Better Safe Than Sorry! Drive Safe!

Hi Samy,
Kerosene is not freely available so use Diesel for chain cleaning which has got similar properties but better.. I'm using it & it works like a charm.
Do not use petrol for chain cleaning (not because of the price). Google a bit & you will know why.

I cant make my parents understand the need for all these stuff
and when my bro regularly does longtrips on bike with helmet and gloves, its not easy to convince them that i need more :O

+1... due to lack of proper riding jackets & gloves, i havent been to any rides with you all Anyways, will get them asap , really looking forward for a ride with xbhpians...
