You have quoted from the news correctly. Just one correction. Distance between Swargate and Dandekar Pul is 2.5 km and not 25km as was quoted in the original news.

Heard it from some people coming to office in the morning that this guy took the bus from swarget> pullgate and then swarget towards nilayam. Now I am not sure how much this would make but people coming from Hadapsar were seen quoting this.

BTW ... Since we are going for a Long ride tom early morning... lets all pledge to be safe riders and stick to the plans what all we decide with no adventures taken.

And yah ... please let the lead be the lead... dont crouch n make him breath ur exhaust ...

Has anyone been to village Velhe via Panshet? I had been there yesterday. We were going to a small hike to mohari pathar. I realized that its an awesome road for biking. Its a mixture of good smooth roads and completely rough roads with just gravel and medium sized stones. If xbhp pune riders are willing we can go ride there on a weekend.
The bad roads are just kachha roads. It will be a little rough ride there. But plenty of good scenery and occasional small tar-made smooth roads. I believe it will be a good ride. Also we ride through a few very small villages.

1. Body positioning is wrong
2. Wrong bike on wrong track
3. Bike wearing wrong tyre
4. This rider is always wrong

I have been there with Inder.cool & two others. The roads are not so good as you mentioned and actually a ride to this area in monsoons would be much more fun than current season.

Yes it would definitely be fun in monsoon. The surroundings would be just awesome. But won't the riding be too hard? Because yesterday the roads were almost not fit for riding a bike. There were sharp stones everywhere and if we top it with flowing water and wet roads n monsoon... Well it will become a complete and difficult off roading track. My friends 2 tyres were punctured on the road. We had to get it fixed from a cycle tyre wala in a village.

Its an awesome road to ride on. Went there in 2008. Just not getting time to revisit it.
There are two roads off Panshet road that goes there. Took one to go and the other one to come back. The return journey was better, compared to the road on which I went there.
