I am starting this Raipur, Chhattisgarh thread on request from xBhpians from the state.

Other members from the state please post to say hello, so that you guys can meet up and ride

For a quite a while i thought i will be the only one from CG . It will be glad to see more of our state guys to meet up.

A big hello to all and great to see this thread up!! We have an offline group of 4-5 riders from Bhilai, Raipur and would be more than glad to meet fellow xBhpians!!

I see two of us , who is the third ? At present i am posted in Pune , whenever i come to CG i will let you know .

I have relocated to Mumbai very recently so I hope we'll be able to catch up in Mumbai-Pune if not in CG!

My bike is still in Raipur , its an 2011 Xtreme. I have to get it here , If possible will drive all the way . Let me know if you have similar plans.

They don't belong to xbhp but have met them last weekend, there were total 5 fatboys, 1 rsv4 & 1 speed triple. Have rode with them for good 25-30 kms.

I have my 2014 RC390 back at home. Planning to come home to Bhilai during late January and then ride to Mumbai. 1000 kms shouldn't be much trouble is what I reckon.

On a RC390 it wont be , But on a 150cc bike one can max maintain avg speed of 80-90 max . My plan is somewhat same , one night stay somewhere midway and it will be fine for sure.

hello dudes, i am from CG as well, bhilai being my hometown..but, i only visit my home for a few weeks every year and therefore i am bike-less when i'm there
plan to ride from allahabad to bhilai at least once before i leave allahabad but it hasnt happened yet.
a bit surprised as well as glad to know there are RSV4 and speed triple type bikes in bhilai..well not too surprised, but first time hearing about it. have seen several harleys many times though.


rohiit - i dont think rc390 and other faster bikes can manage anymore than an avg speed of 100-110 in the same indian highways where a "fast 150cc" can do about 80-90 kmph on an average...even occasional moderate and rare heavy traffic, and occasional towns and villages on the road are enough to pull down the avg speed to about 100-110 even for rc390.. but i once effortlessly managed an avg speed of 105+kmph on my r15 over a distance of approx 120km on a bypass road around here because bypass roads typically have negligible traffic and on-road towns..in such conditions yes faster bikes will have much higher avg speed..but bypass type roads dont last for more than 50-100 kms ususally before they merge on to standard national highways.

hello dudes, i am from CG as well, bhilai being my hometown..but, i only visit my home for a few weeks every year and therefore i am .

There are R1, haybusa, daytona and intruder also in Raipur. Whenever you come do tell atleast we should meet up sometime.
