    For the schedule of stops, and a few other important pointers, read below.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Schedule
    The schedule of the Ride Safe 'xBhp Overnight Ride g2g' is as follows. Please make sure it is followed strictly and seriously.

    Route:
    Delhi - Sonepat - Panipat - Karnal - Kurukshetra - Panchkula - Pinjore - Kalka - Parwanoo - Dharampur - Barog - Kumarhatti - Solan - Kandaghat - Shimla - Dalli - Mashobra - Naldehra.

    Time-wise breakage:
    0430 hrs. - Start from Karnal by-pass
    0600 - 0630hrs. - Breakfast break (probably around Karnal)
    1000 hrs. - Break for tea/ coffee, etc.
    1230 hrs - Next break
    1430 - 1500 hrs. - Reach Naldehra

    Important:
    1. All bikes need to be fuelled to a full tank before getting into the meeting point. So, kindly, fill the tanks of your respective motorcycles an evening prior to the ride.

    2. Before starting the ride, all vehicle papers would be thoroughly checked for validity. Anyone found lacking in ANY vehicle paper(s) would be asked promptly to leave the ride. Valid vehicle document papers include the following:
    a) RC (Registration Certificate);
    b) Valid PUC (Pollution Under Control) Certificate;
    c) Valid Insurance papers;
    d) A valid Driver's Licence.

    3. Since we would be a relatively large group, riding all together would neither be safe nor recommended. Hence, three (3) groups of 4-5 riders would be divided, with a leader and a sweeper for each group.

    4. Fixed riding positions should be maintained among members in a group, NO MATTER WHAT.

    5. Absolutely, NO overtaking within groups and group members.

    6. Strict action will be taken by the xBhp Management if ANY member is found not adhering to these guidelines posted above.

    Please note that the meeting times that have been provided (0400hrs at South Ext., 0415hrs. near the ISBT monastery, and 0430hrs. at the Karnal by-pass) is the time that we would disperse from the said meet-point. So, do not go thinking that you can reach a particular meet-point at your own leisure.

    0400hrs. - Disperse from South Ext. Petrol bunk;
    0415hrs. - Disperse from ISBT monastery;
    0430hrs. - Disperse from Karnal bypass.

    Basically, we won't wait for anyone. We would just stop momentarily, for 2-3 mintues and move on. So, please make sure to reach your meeting point well before the actual time provided in the thread, or else it would be a BIG issue!

    Thanks,
    -Aryan

              @ All: I know we all would love to ride in hills but I guess this time the ride is for people with substantial riding experience. It is not a way to discard people or to create a faction of the group, but just to say that it should ideally be a relaxed ride, wherein each one should be confident that he needs to take care of no one but himself.

              Also, though it is good fun to ride in groups, but somehow, when there are few new riders to the group, the relaxed ride turns to be a Cautious ride. Also, lets not forget that Aryan is a wonderful guy and he too deserves his own space under the sun. Riding in hills, with people whom you are not very sure of being good with a mature mind, takes the pleasure away.

              All in all, I think Aryan would be the best one to comment on this

                  There is no real criteria for choosing a rider, as it is expected that only experienced riders would be applying for the same. However, a final list of riders would be up 10 days prior to the actual event. Also, please make sure the vehicle documents and your driving license is valid. Any failure to produce the valid documents on the day of the ride would mean that the particular rider would not be able to participate in the 'Overnight G2G'.

                  Eagerly Waiting for this thread, and wanted to join this EVENT.

                  @ Aryan Da: I don't have much substantial touring experience, my longest ride was Gajurala Ride which we had last month.

                  Wanted to be a part of this ride to...

                    Same here mostwanted. Gajraula ride and another trip are the only two I have got. But still I want to apply for this. Will gain knowledge about hill riding if selected.

                    @Aryan Da: Either your bike is running smooth now or you got a new ride. Hai na? Hai na?

                      @Prateek: Neither! I will have to request someone to lend me his bike for this ride!

                      P.S: It seems no-one is quite interested in this kind of a ride!

                            Please read the header post once. I have already mentioned that the participants need to have prior touring experience, which means 3-4 long rides at the least, if not more! If I do not find such riders, this ride would rather be cancelled.

                            As for another "newbie ride", it would be held again, whenever deemed fit.
