            Those who are not punctual will be left, and no two ways about it. If someone has committed for this ride, he should BE there on the time that's been decided upon, or else he is simply NOT fit to ride with a group of bikers. Punctuality matters! That's the plane-jane truth of it all, for me.

            Thanks for this important piece of news, Shivanshu. Please get your motorcycle's fuel tank filled to the brim on 8th April itself, so that we do not face any fuel crisis later on, while ON the highway.

            • Good Initiative !!

              Good Initiative dada. It's been very long that a good overnight G2G was conducted. Though I would have liked a larger group participating in this ride but I hope in future, there will be more participation.

              I will come to see off you guys. Have a wonderful journey. God Bless

                  • @all: Please note that the meeting times that have been provided (0400hrs at South Ext., 0415hrs. near the ISBT monastery, and 0430hrs. at the Karnal by-pass) is the time that we would disperse from the said meet-point. So, do not go thinking that you can reach a particular meet-point at your own leisure.

                    0400hrs. - Disperse from South Ext. Petrol bunk;
                    0415hrs. - Disperse from ISBT monastery;
                    0430hrs. - Disperse from Karnal bypass.

                    Basically, we won't wait for anyone. We would just stop momentarily, for 2-3 mintues and move on. So, please make sure to reach your meeting point well before the actual time provided in the thread, or else it would be a BIG issue!

                    Thanks.
                    :)

                          Dear Aryan and all: I am not very sure if it would be very good to start that late. Departure from Delhi @ 4:30 am in a group of approx. 15 odd people with around 2 stops mid way would mean that we will hit Kalka not before 9:30am. Ok I agree it is pretty earlier than what time I reach my office but I hope my mates would agree that it already is the onset of good summers+ most of us would be in their good riding gear+ sun shines early on Highways. So by the time we reach Kalka, atleast I will be Roasted Chicken.

                          Please spare me the wrath of leaving Delhi so late!

                          All Cheers

                          dcs

                          P.S: I am about to get married in less than two months time, and I dont want my would be wife to call off the marriage just because I turn out to be grilled tandoori chicken after the ride.

                          P.S II: Please recall our Spiti ride, wherein we left at 1AM and easily reached Narkanda at 11:30 AM.
                          Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!

                            • @Himanshu: Will try for a live update, from someone's cell phone, hopefully!

                              @dcs: I thoroughly understand your sarcastic humour, but I hope you would agree that being in a large group of 15 odd bikers, we cannot think of one or two individual's comfort level. When we went to Spti, please remember we were only two riders (although we were supposed to be 5-6 in all). Being the seasoned tourer that you are, I really didn't hope that you would crib, of all the members! I know you would be absolutely fine; just come along!

                              @Zayn: Let us congratulate dcs, in Naldehra!

                              @all: The detailed plan has already been posted, and I hope everyone has had a look at it already. The meeting time, meeting points, destination, etc., everything has been accounted for.

                              This thread will now be locked, for obvious purposes. After the successful completion of the ride, a new thread will rightfully be created. If you need to communicate between each-other, use the PM feature of xBhp. It comes in real handy in these kinds of situations!

                              Topic Locked.

                              Thanks,
                              -Aryan

                                1000 hrs. - Break for tea/ coffee, etc.
                                1230 hrs - Next break
                                1430 - 1500 hrs. - Reach Naldehra

                                Important:
                                1. All bikes need to be fuelled to a full tank before getting into the meeting point. So, kindly, fill the tanks of your respective motorcycles an evening prior to the ride.

                                2. Before starting the ride, all vehicle papers would be thoroughly checked for validity. Anyone found lacking in ANY vehicle paper(s) would be asked promptly to leave the ride. Valid vehicle document papers include the following:
                                a) RC (Registration Certificate);
                                b) Valid PUC (Pollution Under Control) Certificate;
                                c) Valid Insurance papers;
                                d) A valid Driver's Licence.

                                3. Since we would be a relatively large group, riding all together would neither be safe nor recommended. Hence, three (3) groups of 4-5 riders would be divided, with a leader and a sweeper for each group.

                                4. Fixed riding positions should be maintained among members in a group, NO MATTER WHAT.

                                5. Absolutely, NO overtaking within groups and group members.

                                6. Strict action will be taken by the xBhp Management if ANY member is found not adhering to these guidelines posted above.

                                Please note that the meeting times that have been provided (0400hrs at South Ext., 0415hrs. near the ISBT monastery, and 0430hrs. at the Karnal by-pass) is the time that we would disperse from the said meet-point. So, do not go thinking that you can reach a particular meet-point at your own leisure.

                                0400hrs. - Disperse from South Ext. Petrol bunk;
                                0415hrs. - Disperse from ISBT monastery;
                                0430hrs. - Disperse from Karnal bypass.

                                Basically, we won't wait for anyone. We would just stop momentarily, for 2-3 mintues and move on. So, please make sure to reach your meeting point well before the actual time provided in the thread, or else it would be a BIG issue!

                                Thanks,
                                -Aryan
