We have 36 hours before we decide things finally.
Till then lets take that everything will be fine & We are going for a ride.
Lets keep it as a Pleasure ride.
We need not convert it into an ADVENTURE.
So even when we start on saturday morning if we feel or get indication that there can be some risk involved lets drop it.
We are not going to get reprimanded for planning it & then cancelling it for our own safety.
Every 1 in the ride please get UR bikes ready with full fuel before we start.
Set 2 riders have Saturday also to get the Bikes ready.

BTW, which oil you have? I want 10w30 mineral oil preferably Idemitsu. No castrol please . If nothing specific is available its better to go with whatever is available and I can change to Idimitsu 10w30 mineral oil after the ride or may be an early oil change next time. Its much better than running on a 2500km old oil!!

I will manage any issues, if its with police but what I am worrying is that police declared section 144, so they are anticipating trouble. But first, can someone confirm whether section 144 is imposed at all or is it just a rumor!!

As our wise men already delivered their wise advise, lets wait till Friday night and take a call. Heck we can also decide on Saturday morning too!! Its wonly 220km so we can do it in 6 hours positively including all the breaks. Everyone please pass on your contact numbers via PM (no I am not talking about Prime Minister, I am talking about private message) to Prabhakar and also c.c. to me!! Alternative you can sms to Prabhakar's number(mentioned in his signature; it appears after each of his posts)

I am also thinking about a Jungle-lodge for the night stay just in-case we do Warangal!! OR a special guest house at Srisailam. Cant promise anything as of now but I want to keep the guys tempted. katam nahin hua, abhi pikchure baaki hain

BTW, some where in between Nagarjuna Sagar was dropped from the list of proposed places. Why was it dropped?? There are more chances of getting a guest house there! This one is the closest one near the dam!!

PS: What about the wise men(KP, ravi, sathi, vishnu, ravikiran, boo, ....)?? Why dont you guys join the ride?? It will be once in a life time ride. I see to it that it will be.

tell your folks that you are going no-where due to the tensions in the region. When the pressure is off, tell them that we are continuing with the ride as the situation is under control.

PS: @all, make a sticker sought of thing with TG on it which can cover the letters AP on your number plate. Don't stick it, just in case if any agitator stops you and wants to paint it black on your number plate, take it out from your pocket and stick it then, go some distance and remove it!! I suggest POST-IT slips, easy to remove and re-use. Else any paper should be fine. If asked, why removed in the first place just tell them you removed to escape from the cops just a few minutes ago. When stopped by police say that you just put it few minutes ago to avoid an altercation with the agitators!!!

I think anything more than 2 is a problem for section 144

I mean at any point we'll not be staying or stopping as a group.
Moreover we'll not stop in any of the telangana Districts.
Srisailam, Nandyal, etc., are not in Telangana.

Thats Good news!!!!!!
We can get the bikes ready tomorrow & then happily go away on our Vacation on Saturday early morning.
If V cross Jadcharla its Kurnool district.
So V can happily relax in Nandyal go to Ahobilam & Mahanandi.
After that we retyrn & stay in Nandyal.
We start on sunday morning & come to Srisailam.

On Sunday morning the second set of riders start in non Bandh situation & can come easily to Srisailam.

All of us can get the bikes prepared tomorrow.

I don't think after Jadcherla we have any major Town in Telangana before Kurnool.
In kurnool no problems now.

The problem is i have already given it for service yesterday only, the possible delivery can be 26th evening.
