Overnite stay people would like to explore the places on the way, where as return journey people would like to reach humpi at the earliest. so there would be contradictions.

so lets make it straight...either overnite stay or single day. As KP said and as I know...800kms in a day would be a daunting task and risky

So we are left out with either srisailam or n.sagar

For these places we can make it either single day riders/overnight stay riders...
But we should make it a point to start off by around 4 am so that it'd not be a problem for both groups...

I cannot confirm as of now, since my bike's service date is about to reach and i dont have enough budget as of now.

The riders will be divided in 2 sets -

Set 1 - People who will do overnight stay,
Set 2 - People who want to do it a single day ride.

Set 1 riders start on Saturday Morning.
Go to the Destination decided & roam around.
In the evening they take the hotel, then chill out & have fun.
Then on Sunday morning they explore the place more & wait for Set 2 Riders.

Set 2 Riders will start early in the morning on Sunday and meet Set 1 riders.

Set 1 & set 2 together roam around & return together back to Hyderabad on Sunday evening.


We did this when Some wanderers & some Highway nawab Guys went to srisailam on saturday.
Some more riders from both these clubs started on sunday early morning & came to Dindi reservoir.
Both met there & returned together.
I was in the Sunday group.

They have all sport goods branded as Max-it or something like that. I checked the bikes. Stay away, absolute crappy stuff. I tried the bmx and touring types, both are feeble and poor quality ones. I like my bikes to be sturdy

You guys are tempting me for the trip now. I was supposed to go to my future inlaws place and give some presents lol. Ill try multitasking

Trust me on this... maximum people who want to make it one day trip would not want to start even at 7 AM. 4 AM for them is like hell breaking loose! Else they'd come to so many G2G's and short rides we did earlier.

Exactly that was on back of my mind since the past two days.

But
1) forget this if the destination is Hampi for all the good reasons
2) above mentioned reason
3) wanted to wait and see the political situation and also the decisions made here about the destination.

Srisailam is a good idea. Sagar need not be a good idea.

25th is Christmas so many would be celebrating so changed the dates to 26th & 27th.
However if the final decision of the group is 25th & 26th then I'm ok with that too.
Please add up ur names so that there is a clear picture about the ride.
The dates & destinations are tentative.
They'll be changed as per the consensus by majority riders.

Iam out if:
1. The destination is Hampi.
2. Its a 2 day ride. This is month end so not having enough resources.

Iam in if:
1. Destination is something else preferrably Srisailam or other places on the colder side or some beautiful scenic places. I have no idea about Lakhnavaram.
2. Its a 1 day ride.

Though its been 4.5K kms.since my bike has been serviced&my sis is coming from Pune for just a couple of days, I say if its a one day ride on Sunday, I'm in. I just got to know that my parents have booked tickets for 3 Idiots Saturday 1 p.m. show, so I'm open to riding on Sunday, whether joining you guys on Day 2, or only single day, whatever it is.

Destination is not yet decided.
It'll be decided basing on the political situations in the state.
Lakhnavaram, Srisailam are the most probable destinations as of now.

hmmm, though it sounds good. But somehow...it doesnt get a feel of riding in group.

Avoid dindi, its only waste of time there. there are many other good places to explore.

I am ok for Overnite stay, but as I already said, Sunday I cannot join. As I have night shift (10pm) from that day so I need to be at home well before 5PM. But still i need to get permissions also. And IFF it overnite stay, Why srisailam? arent there any other places which are around 400-450kms far?? I still prefer HAMPI regardless of the issue, as we would be starting on saturday and some statement would be announced by center before that.

put me in tentative list.

First you need to transfer Rs10000/- only to my account and then you can join the rides.
