I was there at 6 30am as instructed..
Our nawabs came by 7 10am..
Was getting bored watchin children play when i decided to click some few snaps from my cell phone...

Thank GOD at least someone came on time.

Even at 7:10 it was me, Ravi Kiran and Vishnu who came in. We thought we were severely late (courtesy me - had to drop my wife somewhere early in the morning).

But, as usual, all those people who jump like hell in the forum for a G2G did not turn up - even late. Well, that is Hyderabad guys for one.



Not "remove the negative image" but "a tiny attempt to promote safety".

I would'nt have turned up if not for surya who woke me up! Did'nt have enough sleep in two days!

Two new uncles finding it difficult to get out for a ride... and you know what??? another new uncle is in the same situation and is planning a ride/drive to Srisailam this week-end. Along with Aunty.

In some of the previous posts few of us were discussing bicycles, well why is it that people only want Aishwarya Rai, Bipasha Basu, JLo. Someone really wants to cycle then you can even start off with the very basic Hero Ranger. Start off with a splendor and slowly graduate to a R1

But the way I'm thinking is that... anyways cant afford a superbike presently... so atleast dream and plan for a affordable super-cycle

I even checked some full fledged (Full-SUS, gears and discs) in Hero and Hercules.
But even they are priced at around 9-10k

Long weekend Ride & g2g

These links have excellent information & explanation.


Lets Read them again & again like we do it for an exam.
We face this exam every time we go on the road.
Even if we are a group of 20 riders or 2 - these skills make our riding safer.
Its not only for the HMTV thing but for any day to day ride or a weekend long ride.

However these links are good only if all of us implement them properly.
We'll implement only when we go for a ride together and practice them religiously.
That will happen only when we have rides every weekend.

So the bottom line is - we need to ride together with proper riding etiquette under guidance from experienced tourers.

So lets decide a place for our ride this weekend.
Srisailam is obviously a very good choice.
Do we have anything else in any 1s mind??

It would be a one day ride. Again many members including me cant make it if its a 2 day ride. So think upon that everyone. We can make that a grand reunion ride. What do u guys say?

Apart from Humpi, I propose Warangal( especially Laknavaram and Pakhal lake). I also have Paapikondalu in my mind, but its better we avoid that route!!

rahul, many of us have personal relations off-line with each other. And we talk a lot of things on the phone or in person which is off-line. We should be wise enough to decide what to tell others from those conversations especially in an online forum!!

I am not wise(its ok not being wise), so any one else is also not wise like me, its better not mention on-line about anything which happened off-line!!

I'll keep showing you the pics with prices until I finalize on one or you get fed up and buy one for me

Warangal is one good place to visit...

Humpi is a perfect place to get humped. lots of foriegners, if you are lucky u might get to see some topless girls too

1 day ride or weekend getaway

Hampi & srisailam are good places.
In both the places we can stay overnight.

Pakhal is also a good place to visit.
But the stay will be in Warangal.

So lets decide whether it'll be a day ride with a night stay or a single day ride.

First option we start early in the morning go to the destination leisurely enjoying everything in between.
Reach the destination stay there for the night & chill out
The next day we start in the morning & come home leisurely.
Nawabi style
We can interact with each other & have loads of Fun

The Second option we start off very early rush to the place & return back immediately
Less of interaction & Fun
Just riding, riding, riding & riding

First option we need to ride back in the evening & sometime in the night also.
Usually regular tourers don't have problem riding in the dark (With Lights).
But new members to Touring may find it a little difficult.

Second option permissions in home & additional expense of 300-400 are the trouble.
The cost of accommodation for the group will be lower & may be around 300-400 per person at the most.

So who wants what??
Please post it so that we can decide at the earliest.

Long time since I did that.

Thejus (Satan69) is going to banglore.
He'll join us in Hampi if V do an overnight stay there.

guys do u know of any reliable castrol bike zone svc in hyderabad ?

i am totally unhappy with the servicing of the lakshmi motors guys at somajiguda.. useless fellows .. neither do they know what do, nor do they listen to the customer properly. I have several times tried to explain them the problems in detail and the service manager and/or mechanic nod in acceptance and assure me that they'd rectify it but finally they simply just cannot do it .

So this time i decided to give Castrol svc a try and i want to watch the whole process in person .. so if anyone of you guys has tried castrol svc ..please let me know of the better svc .. i want something close to ameerpet,punjagutta, sr nagar area's ..if there is something which is far but if is worth the distance do let me know. Also of the various service plans they have on offer. I don't need an oil change. Did 3k km with petronas sprinta and it's fine even now .. i think it will be fine for another 2k km or should i change the oil as well ?
