IF ANY BLOOD BANK/HOSPITAL asks for a DONOR to exchange blood while providing it......try to convince him that its urgent and you will surely get him a donor...and then take the cops to that place.....

In India its illegal to ask for donors.....it is the job of hospitals and blood banks to conduct donation camps and regulate the flow of blood in their inventories.....

Also for people who donate blood...dont wait till someone needs blood...go donate it voluntarily every 3-4 months......

Didn't know that when my friend had a bad accident, it was one of the most famous and 'reputed' hospital in the city.. when they asked, we gave blood in exchange for the units he needed.

hey, you are both right and wrong, it is illegal to ask for donors, but it is not a hospitals job to conduct camps for getting blood..any hospital is under no obligation to supply blood, they can very well reject and send the patient to home or teh grave...the reason replacement is asked for is because..i have personally seen many many many many many patients relatives who promise to donate blood but skip out afterwards, remember the blood that your family/friend may be getting may be somebody elses replaced blood,
but voluntary donation is the best. however do not refuse to give replacement blood when someone you know has been transfused, you may save another's life.
but give replacement only when they ask in a good hospital and even if they dont ask, they will not refuse you for a voluntary donation. unless you are a rare blood group.

in most places the money they charge for blood is not the selling price, it is the cost of all the screenings and checks that are done to ensure it is safe from disease and incompatibility.

A 1000 RUPEES MAY BUY A BOTTLE OF BOOZE BUT EVEN A MILLION RUPEES CANT MANUFACTURE BLOOD WHEN IT IS REALLY NEEDED, SO PLEASE GO AND VOLUNTARILY DONATE, IT FEELS REALLY GOOD, post MEGA GTG (which i will miss BTW) YOU GUYS CAN HAVE A VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION DRIVE IF POSSIBLE.

We all ride bikes and we do have seen many incidents where in some cases we might have experienced it personally...The URGENCY in finding the required blood group.

Two years back we lost of our close friend in a bike accident who was in terrible shortage of required blood group.Unfortunately none of the friends share the required blood group..Since then we decided to donate blood every 5-6 months..
So what say about blood donation GTG ??
Lets make it guys......

And it's a good idea of thinking of a blood donation camp. If you guys are really interested, then i can get in touch with a friend of mine who is with the organisation that i mentioned and we can work things out.

We'd doing a great thing by donating blood and even brand xBhp is made known to more number of ppl.

The reliance autozone is right opposite to the Honda showroom on tolichowki main road. What do u want to know about it ? They have car and bike accessories.

A similar blood donation camp was held by Kriss's wife & was appreciated by all. Nice initiative. I have never donated blood in my life. Lets see how things turn out. Would love to do it for a social cause. BTW iam O+..

Do not mix up a ride G2G with a blood donation camp; not advisable. If needed, we can just donate blood with a city G2G.
