The Official Hyderabad Offline Meet(G2G) Thread

Reached back home from the Auto Expo. Met Prabhakar bhai there. The companies which had showcased their products were Toyota, Tata, Skoda, Honda, TVS, Yamaha, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Fiat and Mahindra.


We attended the launch of the Dazzler. We also got to test-ride it. Well the bike is a welcome change from the old Unicorn, retaining its trusted engine, and with latest stuff such as rear disk, lovely instrument panel, two-tone seat, etc. The price tag and mileage of the bike are the 2 things which would attract customers the most. The company claims a mileage of 60 kmpl. This bike also has a higher top end as compared to the old Unicorn. The price tag is really tempting at 63k ex-showroom hyderabad. The bike will be available from the 31st May 2010.

u can get the detailed road test info of the 220s vs 220f from the march 2010 volume of overdrive.. the facts speak for themselves - 220s is slower every where than the 220f.. and abt 200 takin o the220 ?? my frnd's moded zma took over a highly moded comet,so is the zma-r faster??depend's on a lot of things,and i'm talkin abt stock vs stock..

i had a proper drag race and the result was the 220s was behind me...
ooohhh,and don't start abt the r-15.. 1.15lc for a 150.. and of course it wont vibrate.. it shouln'd when u pay so much for it..this is one of the hottest topic arnd.. the vibes r minimal and i'm sayin that again,they the same vibes that u get when u revv any other indian bike...u'll hardly notice them.. and all these 220 owners ur talkin abt have the 2010 batches,do they?? did u own either of the 2 ??and of course the f will wayyy more exclusive than a 220 lookin like the heighest sellin 150 in the country..cause all that torque and power will definately overwhelm u.. go for the 220f bro as u have ur heart on it.. and abt the tyres,get the zappers if u can get them,or else it's ok with the other tyres too

I read somewhere about a G2G at AutoExpo, which appears to be quite not possible considering everyone having their own priorities and may not have same schedule to come to the show....So as usaual I think it will be scattered once again! Hyderabad xBHP is not the one it was earlier!

If hyd Xbhp isn't the same anymore then its you old members who should and must try to resurrect it. Reason being, you guys were around in the good old days and know how it was and how it needs to be. Most of us aren't aware of it and hence cant push it to that direction.

Chill macha. One reason I stay away from my bike is faster than yours is this. Its better to prove points at the drag meets Actions speak louder than words. It happens. I had my share of bashing when I said my bike was way quicker than a 220 be it f, fi, s, a, b, c whatever. I dint defend myself and argue on it. Just left it to the drag when I could prove it. On the drags, the verdict was out for all to see and there ended the matter.

I would stand with vinu itself saying that just a damn fairing wont make your bike fly. Its the heart and the power it churns out. the bhp, torque and heck, everything, every nut and bolt is same afaik, then how can it go quicker? I agree it reduced the drag, but cmon, by how much will that give you a gain in performance? Guys, keep your opinions to yourself and the point to prove your words are on the track or drag strip.

It can never be after our Kriss decided to leave us. But ultimately it is upon us to lead and not just watch. You can change things to make better for everyone, cant you?

Old Xbhp members are basically stuck on the good old days. Honestly when Kriss was around we all had something to look forward to every weekend. He was the spark to what hyd xbhp was.

But now the torch has been handed over. So Sunny is right.

You gotta do what you gotta do !!!

And trust me i've felt guilty as hell that i've been inactive on xbhp but as of now it'll still be on hold as my Unicorn needs an engine transplant [quite literally] .

One step by each of us will make a hundred steps.
So lets fire this pack up let it burn !!!

P.S= Impressed by the new Unicorn. Now feeling i should have waited 2 years before buying one.

But the Autoexpo is open only after 12.00PM itseems. Still we can have a G2G is all are intersted and carry on with expo.

I had been there today, It was great meeting Aryan and Ranjit. It was quite simple and pretty xBHP stall with a R15 and FZ showingoff some performance stuff. Will be visiting it regularly.

And yeah, Honda seems to be domination this show. HAd a good testride of Dazzler and worthy is a worthy successor of Unicorn. I felt this bike less heavier than other 150cc's. what is it weight?
More on it later.
