Good Morning guys... Happy New Year...

We'll meet on the NH7 where the Express Way (Flyover) meets the NH7. I shall start from home at 10 am. If anyone joining pls call on 9885101088.

after a very satisfied ride to the shamshabad airport .. i am back home now ..
lovely ride and lovely start to the new year 2009 ..

left home at 7 30 am .. and cruised all the way ..

Happy New Year to all the Hyderabadi Xbhpians. May this year bring us a lot of prosperity, fun, peace, rides, rides and more rides!

Shall we have a ride this sunday to some place near hyderabad? We can have a big g2g with all the members and it will be a nice way to start the new year. It will be good to meet all the members. So what do you guys say?

nothing planned out..just ride out for a 100 odd km and take a break(break fast) then turn around and come back..if others join plan may expand a bit..
im thinking of starting by 6 and returning by 10:30-11...

have to get the cobwebs cleared off my bike...not doing justice to her by keeping her parked..

Anyone going to write something about our trip yesterday?

I called up ravi anna(ravi@17bhp) at 10:20AM in the morning to find out whether he would like to go for a short ride. But to my surprise he was already on a ride!!!! and in the back ground I could hear folks arguing whether a BUSA can do 150kmph in the first gear!!!

I decided to join up with them and headed straight to the bathroom, took my bath and started to meet up with the rest at Pocharam. I hit the medchel road and then to Toopran and to Chegunta and to Pocharam via Medak dist. On the way I saw a decent looking dhaba and thought in the return we can have the lunch over there which we did. The rest(7 bikers) reached directly to pocharam from another route by 12:00 while I was there by 1:00 at that time 2 bikers headed back to the city.

I made special entry to Pocharam on my zeuBUsA while the HayaBUSA was waiting there!!! yes kriss came on the Hayabusa!!! this is the first time in my life I have seen a BUSA in white theme in flesh!! Had lots of soda(18 between 6 @ 4/- per soda) We started back around 2:30 and hit the dabha by 3:00; ordered rotis with Moghulai Chicken, Butter Chicken, Egg Burji(the best of the lot) and topped with cool drinks, unfortunately our thatha could not get breezer instead the dhaba folks offered Blenders Pride!!!(though thatha refused to have it)

We hit the road at 4:00 and I reached home around 6:15. In the return Journey I tried my hands at Satish's RTR, Harsha's R15 and KP's R15. Though the RTR has good pick-up, I decided, I would not go for it as my next bike. I felt my zeuBUsA is lot smoother than the RTR upto 80kmph though it seriously lacked any power. Though R15 isnt butter smooth as I expected but has excellent power delivery from 5,000 rpm upto 10,000 rpm. I also did 199kmp and consistently between 194 and 199kmph on Harsha's R15 thanks to a huge speedo error!!!

me too, did 120kmph on KP's R15!!

There is a drag race at Hyd on the 17th and 18th. need some directions and if possible help from some xbhp members to guide us get there to the venue.
Its at the GMR international airport.
Contacts of some Hyd members will be helpful. I will be there on the 16th noon.

He he he. We were just 5 km from you. I have stopped twice in between, once to watch a fiece fighting between autowala and omni-walas. Otherwise, I zma would have beaten the Busa. Remember, I even started late to take a pic of the busa in action, and also some pics of Harsha and Satish.
